Apply & track with Apply EdgeWe are looking for someone who wants to build a career in global events and get stuck into making them happen.You will be part of the team bringing complex corporate events to life, learning how all the pieces fit together and taking on more responsibility as your experience grows.We are Eventcomms Agency, a close-knit Irish team headquartered in Dublin, delivering global events for global clients.This is a hybrid role. We work mostly remotely, with some time together in our Dublin office, alongside international travel for our events.What You Will Be Doing
- Keeping event plans, timelines and action lists on track
- Building event webpages, registration sites and event apps, with third-party support
- Coordinating venues, hotels, suppliers and event partners
- Supporting accommodation, F&B, transfers and event logistics
- Managing delegate communications, registration and attendee queries
- Researching destinations, venues, suppliers and creative ideas
- Requesting and comparing supplier quotations
- Keeping event files and information organised and accurate
- Communicating professionally with clients and suppliers
- Travelling internationally to support onsite event delivery
- Being curious about new technology and experimenting with tools, including AI, that can help us work smarterMost importantly, you will learn to spot what needs doing and take action rather than waiting to be asked.And if you see a better way of doing something, we want you to say it. - Some experience in events, hospitality, travel, event coordination or a similar environment
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Confidence communicating professionally with clients and suppliers
- Good Microsoft 365 skills
- The ability to organise your workload and manage competing deadlines
- A genuine appetite to learn and develop your career in events
- Flexibility and enthusiasm for international travelCorporate event or event agency experience would be an advantage, but for this role we care just as much about your attitude, potential and how you approach your work.You do not need to tick every box.
