Kanavu Connect focuses on designing impactful experiences that support business growth, skill development, and long-term partnerships.Role Description The Event Manager will oversee the planning, coordination, and execution of DreamGen 2025 as a full-time, on-site role based in Tiruchirappalli. This includes developing event timelines, managing vendor relationships, coordinating logistics such as venue setup, registrations, and on-the-day operations, and ensuring all activities run smoothly. The role involves collaborating with internal teams and partners, supervising support staff and volunteers, and maintaining clear communication with exhibitors, speakers, and attendees. The Event Manager will monitor budgets, track key milestones, manage risk and contingency plans, and continually improve processes to deliver a high-quality, engaging expo experience.Qualifications Demonstrated experience in event management, conference or expo coordination, or related roles.Strong organizational and project management skills, including the ability to handle multiple deadlines.Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for working with vendors, partners, and participants.Proficiency in using event management tools, basic office software, and online collaboration platforms.Ability to work on-site in Tiruchirappalli, including during weekends or extended hours when required.Experience managing budgets, contracts, and vendor negotiations is highly beneficial.Background in marketing, hospitality, business administration, or a related field is an advantage; a relevant degree or equivalent practical experience is preferred.Capacity to remain calm under pressure, solve problems quickly, and lead diverse teams in a professional, inclusive manner.
