Interns will support the planning and execution of events by assisting with venue coordination, supplier communication, and on-the-day event logistics. Typical tasks include helping prepare event proposals, schedules, and checklists, maintaining accurate records of client requirements, and contributing to décor and layout planning. The role also involves coordinating with internal teams, managing basic administrative duties, and supporting post-event follow-up and feedback collection. Interns will gain practical experience in end-to-end event management while working closely with senior planners.Qualifications Interest in event planning and coordination, with a strong desire to learn the full event lifecycle from concept to execution.Solid organizational and time-management abilities, including prioritizing tasks and handling multiple deadlines.Effective written and verbal communication skills for interacting with clients, vendors, and team members.Attention to detail and problem-solving skills to manage unexpected changes and ensure smooth event operations.Ability to work on-site in Biyagama, including occasional extended hours or weekend work when events require.Proficiency with basic office software (e.g., email, spreadsheets, presentation tools); familiarity with social media is an advantage.Collaborative mindset, professionalism, and a customer-focused attitude in a fast-paced environment.Educational background or ongoing studies in Event Management, Hospitality, Business, or a related field is beneficial but not mandatory.
