قدّم وتابع مع أبلاي إيدجRole – Event Support EngineerLocation: Warren, NJ – OnsiteDuration: 12 MonthsPosition OverviewWe are looking for an experienced Event Support Engineer to provide high-quality technical and AV support for executive leadership, corporate meetings, conferences, town halls, board sessions, and other high-profile business events.The person in this role will be responsible for ensuring that executive meeting spaces, conference rooms, collaboration platforms, and event technology are fully prepared and operational. This position requires a combination of strong troubleshooting skills, hands-on AV experience, executive-level customer service, and the ability to remain calm and professional during time-sensitive events.The ideal candidate will be comfortable working directly with senior executives and VIP stakeholders while coordinating with internal IT teams, facilities, event teams, and external vendors.Key ResponsibilitiesExecutive & VIP Technology SupportProvide personalized, high-touch technology assistance to C-level executives, senior leaders, board members, and other VIP users.Act as the primary technical point of contact for executive conference rooms, leadership meetings, boardrooms, and executive events.Troubleshoot Windows laptops, mobile devices, docking stations, printers, Microsoft 365 applications, peripherals, and collaboration tools.Assist executives with presentations, video meetings, virtual conferences, webcasts, and hybrid sessions.Perform proactive checks of executive technology and meeting spaces to identify and resolve potential issues before meetings begin.Provide immediate technical assistance during high-priority executive meetings and events.Maintain strict confidentiality when working with sensitive executive, corporate, or business information.Event & AV TechnologyProvide technical support for conferences, town halls, training programs, corporate meetings, leadership sessions, and special events.Prepare, configure, test, operate, and break down AV and event equipment before and after events.Work with displays, projectors, video walls, cameras, microphones, speakers, mixers, switchers, digital signage, and conferencing equipment.Conduct pre-event technology checks to ensure all systems are ready before attendees and executives arrive.Support Microsoft Teams, Teams Rooms, Zoom, Webex, and other enterprise collaboration platforms.Troubleshoot audio, video, connectivity, presentation, and conferencing issues during live meetings.Support virtual, in-person, and hybrid events while maintaining a smooth experience for both onsite and remote participants.Assist with event recording, webcasting, live streaming, and post-event media activities.Monitor event technology throughout sessions and respond quickly to technical issues.Collaboration & Service DeliveryPartner with IT infrastructure, desktop support, facilities, security, event management, and other business teams to deliver successful meetings and events.Coordinate with AV partners, equipment suppliers, and other third-party vendors when required.Maintain conference room and event technology inventories and ensure equipment is properly tracked and available.Develop and maintain technical documentation, operating procedures, event readiness guides, and executive support playbooks.Create pre-event testing and room-readiness processes to reduce technology-related disruptions.Identify opportunities to improve conference room, executive support, and event technology capabilities.Provide users and executive assistants with guidance on meeting room systems and collaboration tools.Assist with technology upgrades, equipment replacements, and improvements to executive and event spaces.Work & Operational RequirementsThis is an onsite role in Warren, NJ and requires a strong onsite presence.Flexibility to support early morning, evening, weekend, and after-hours events when business requirements dictate.Travel to other company offices or external event locations may occasionally be required.Assist with moving, transporting, installing, and storing AV and IT equipment.Ability to safely lift and move equipment weighing up to 50 lbs.Ability to manage several meetings, events, and support requests simultaneously while maintaining service quality.Required Qualifications5+ years of professional experience in Event Technology Support, Executive IT Support, AV Support, Desktop/End User Support, or a related corporate technology environment.Demonstrated experience providing technical support to executives, senior leadership, board members, or VIP users.Strong hands-on knowledge of Microsoft Teams, Microsoft Teams Rooms, Zoom, Zoom Rooms, Webex, and enterprise conferencing technologies.Practical experience with AV equipment such as microphones, cameras, speakers, mixers, switchers, projectors, displays, video walls, and digital signage.Strong understanding of Windows-based endpoints, Microsoft 365, mobile devices, printers, docking stations, peripherals, and workplace technology.Excellent diagnostic and troubleshooting capabilities with the ability to resolve issues quickly during live events.Strong interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills.Professional and composed approach when working in high-pressure or executive-facing situations.Ability to prioritize and handle multiple simultaneous meetings, events, and support tickets.Experience working with confidential and sensitive corporate information.Strong coordination skills and the ability to work effectively with IT, facilities, security, event teams, and external vendors.Ability to lift and transport technology and AV equipment up to 50 lbs.Preferred Skills & CertificationsPrevious experience supporting C-suite executives, board meetings, executive briefing centers, or high-profile corporate events.Experience with Teams Rooms, Zoom Rooms, Cisco Collaboration, Crestron, or similar enterprise room technologies.AVIXA or other relevant AV certification.ITIL Foundation certification.Experience with hybrid events, live production, streaming, webcasting, and event recording.Knowledge of ServiceNow or another ITSM/ticketing platform.Experience supporting large enterprise conference rooms and executive collaboration environments.Familiarity with event production workflows, AV signal flow, and conference room technology standards.
