قدّم وتابع مع أبلاي إيدجEvent Administration AssistantFruitbowl Events Agency is a Melbourne-based event management company with more than 30 years' experience delivering festivals, government functions, corporate events, community events, and major public events across Victoria.Our team manages every element behind successful event delivery, including event administration, stakeholder coordination, supplier and contractor management, logistics, compliance, risk management, event documentation, and on-site delivery.We work in a fast-paced environment where strong organisation, attention to detail and great administration are essential to keeping multiple events moving at once.Role DescriptionThe Event Administration Assistant is a part-time, on-site contract role based in Burwood, VIC, commencing immediately through to March 2027, with the potential to develop into a full-time ongoing position for the right person.This is an administration-focused role designed to support our event managers and operations & project manager across a busy portfolio of events.The role will include maintaining event databases, undertaking accurate data entry, managing registrations, responding to event enquiries and correspondence, and following up exhibitors, suppliers and contractors for required compliance documentation.You will also assist with preparing and formatting event documentation and information and induction kits, maintaining contractor, supplier and participant records, taking meeting minutes, updating action lists and providing general administrative support across multiple events and projects.Depending on experience and interest, the role may also include supplier sourcing, database and inbox management, basic promotional or social media support, and occasional event-day assistance.This is an excellent opportunity for someone who already has administration experience and is interested in developing a career within the events industry. Extensive events experience is not required. What is important is that you are organised, reliable, confident in communicating with stakeholders at all levels, comfortable managing multiple tasks and keen to learn.Qualifications and Experience Previous administration, office support, reception, customer service, or similar experience.Strong data entry and database management skills.Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.Good written and verbal communication skills.Confident and professional telephone manner.Strong organisational and time-management skills.Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.Experience preparing, formatting, and maintaining professional documents.Confidence using Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel.Ability to learn new databases, CRM systems and event management platforms.Comfortable following up exhibitors, suppliers, and contractors for outstanding information and compliance documentation.Ability to respond professionally to event enquiries and routine correspondence.Ability to work independently while also supporting a wider team.A proactive, reliable, and positive approach.Genuine interest in events and willingness to learn.Previous experience in events, hospitality, marketing, or social media would be highly regarded but is not essential.Ability to work on-site in Burwood, VIC, with some flexibility for occasional event-day, evening, or weekend work.
