Events AV Technician

PixelPro Studios Pte. Ltd. is looking for a full-time Events AV Technician / Operations IC to join our event production team.This is a hands-on technical and operational role for someone who can take ownership of event setups and deployments, lead crew on-site, and ensure events are delivered safely and smoothly. You will work across LED walls, audio, lighting, staging and other event production equipment.Key Responsibilities•⁠ ⁠Take charge of assigned event deployments from preparation and loading through setup, live operations and teardown•⁠ ⁠Lead and coordinate technicians, part-timers, interns and event crew on-site•⁠ ⁠Set up, operate and troubleshoot LED walls, including LED panels, processors, signal distribution, cabling and content playback•⁠ ⁠Set up and operate professional audio systems, including speakers, wireless/wired microphones, digital mixers and related equipment•⁠ ⁠Support setup and operation of event lighting, staging, video and other AV systems•⁠ ⁠Conduct equipment testing and pre-event technical checks•⁠ ⁠Diagnose and resolve AV, signal, power, networking and equipment issues quickly during live events•⁠ ⁠Coordinate technical requirements with clients, venues, organisers and other vendors on-site•⁠ ⁠Conduct site surveys and assist with technical planning•⁠ ⁠Prepare and manage risk assessments, safe work procedures, method statements and other event safety documentation•⁠ ⁠Conduct safety briefings/toolbox meetings and ensure crew follow safe working practices•⁠ ⁠Oversee proper loading, transportation, handling and storage of equipment•⁠ ⁠Ensure equipment is properly maintained, tested and returned after events•⁠ ⁠Handle operational and administrative processes, including job sheets, equipment checklists, inventory records, event documentation and reporting•⁠ ⁠Identify operational issues and continuously improve internal workflows and SOPs•⁠ ⁠Escalate issues appropriately while being capable of making independent on-site decisions when requiredRequirements•⁠ ⁠Prior experience in events, AV production, technical production or a related field•⁠ ⁠Strong hands-on technical aptitude and troubleshooting ability•⁠ ⁠Comfortable working with audio systems and live event equipment•⁠ ⁠Able to lead a crew confidently and communicate instructions clearly•⁠ ⁠Responsible, organised and able to work independently•⁠ ⁠Strong awareness of workplace and event safety•⁠ ⁠Able to perform physically demanding work, including handling event equipment•⁠ ⁠Comfortable with irregular working hours, including evenings, weekends and public holidays depending on event schedules•⁠ ⁠Able to work under pressure during live events•⁠ Preferred: Minimum 3 years of relevant working experience, with demonstrated experience leading teams or taking charge of event operationsTraining ProvidedIn-house technical training will be provided on PixelPro’s equipment, systems and operating procedures, including LED wall systems, audio equipment, event workflows and company safety procedures.We’re not necessarily looking for someone who already knows every piece of equipment we own. We’re looking for someone with strong fundamentals, leadership experience, good judgement and the ability to learn quickly and take ownership.What we’re looking forThe ideal candidate isn’t someone who simply waits for instructions.
