Exam Invigilators support the safe and fair running of internal and external examinations by supervising students in exam rooms, ensuring exam regulations are followed, and maintaining a calm, orderly environment. Typical duties include setting up exam rooms, distributing and collecting papers, checking candidate identities, and recording attendance and incidents in line with school and exam board procedures. Invigilators monitor students throughout exams to prevent malpractice, respond to queries appropriately, and liaise with teaching staff and the Exams Officer as needed. The role may involve flexible hours, particularly during busy exam periods.QualificationsStrong attention to detail and accuracy, with the ability to follow exam regulations and school procedures consistently.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact professionally with students and staff and manage exam room conduct.Reliable time management and organisational skills, including punctuality and the ability to work to fixed timetables and schedules.Ability to remain calm under pressure, uphold confidentiality, and demonstrate fairness and integrity at all times.Comfort working on-site, standing or walking for extended periods, and setting up exam rooms and materials.Previous experience in an education or examination setting is beneficial but not essential; full training can be provided.Basic IT skills for checking exam information, completing electronic records, and communicating with staff.Right to work in the UK and willingness to undergo all required safeguarding checks, including an enhanced DBS check.If you're interested please apply here: ce0374li.webitrent.com/ce0374li_webrecruitment/wrd/run/ETREC179GF.open?WVID=52153295fS&VACANCY_ID=037510PKtI
