Apply & track with Apply EdgeWe are hiring an Excellence & Continuous Improvement Specialist to work on a project with an Abu Dhabi government entity. In this role, you'll own the entity's process framework and continuous-improvement cycle, set the standards for how processes are documented and improved, and lead readiness for government excellence assessments.Key Responsibilities
- Maintain the organization's process map (levels 1–3) and the register of process owners
- Set and maintain SOP and process-documentation standards, templates and mapping methods
- Quality-check processes and SOPs against the standard and maintain a version-controlled repository
- Maintain the continuous-improvement backlog and diagnose the process root causes of performance gaps
- Facilitate improvement reviews with process owners using lean and continuous-improvement methods
- Simplify processes ahead of digitalisation and route improvements that need digital support
- Embed change from strategic initiatives: identify affected processes, review target designs and monitor adoption after go-live
- Lead readiness for government excellence assessments: self-assessments, evidence collection, submissions and improvement plansRequirements
- 4–7+ years of experience in process excellence, continuous improvement, quality management, business transformation or management consulting
- Hands-on experience setting process and SOP standards and running process reviews with business owners
- Experience preparing for government excellence or quality assessments
- Familiarity with lean, continuous-improvement methods and automation-readiness assessment
- Experience in government or semi-government, real estate or another regulated sector is preferred; experience with UAE government excellence programmes is an advantage
- Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, operations management, quality management or a related field; Lean, Six Sigma, BPM or excellence-assessor certification is an advantage
