As our Exchange Operations & Virtual Asset Settlement Manager, you will run the operational engine behind wallet infrastructure, asset movements, trade settlement, and reconciliation.You will work at the intersection of technology, trading, compliance, risk, and client protection. responsibility for Ofza’s Fireblocks environment, wallet architecture, asset movements, and settlement workflowsDesign controls that directly protect client assets and strengthen institutional confidenceWork closely with Trading, Product, Technology, Finance, Risk, and Compliance, with visibility across the businessHelp shape the operational infrastructure required to support Ofza’s settlement operationsOversee daily wallet operations, deposits, withdrawals, trade settlements, and reconciliationsManage settlement and reconciliation across blockchains, wallet infrastructure, liquidity providers, and banking partnersMaintain dual-control procedures, approval hierarchies, and segregation of duties for all asset movementsEnsure the segregation of client virtual assets, including the appropriate use of hot, warm, and cold-wallet arrangementsOversee sweeping mechanisms and daily virtual asset reconciliations in accordance with applicable VARA requirements and Ofza policiesInvestigate breaks, failed settlements, and reconciliation variances, ensuring timely resolution and escalationFireblocks & wallet infrastructureHands-on Fireblocks expertise is central to this role.Own the day-to-day administration of Ofza’s Fireblocks environmentManage workspace configuration, Transaction Authorization Policy [TAP] rules, whitelisting, and approval workflowsConfigure and maintain user roles, quorum structures, approval authorities, and MPC key-management controlsHelp ensure that Ofza’s wallet architecture remains secure, scalable, and aligned with regulatory requirements and industry best practicesAct as Ofza’s internal subject-matter expert on Fireblocks and institutional wallet infrastructureSupport Product and Technology teams with integrations, upgrades, and the introduction of new networks or virtual assetsTroubleshoot wallet and infrastructure incidents, working directly with Fireblocks and internal Technology teams when requiredRegulatory controls & operational riskDevelop, implement, and continuously improve SOPs for wallet, settlement, and reconciliation operationsMonitor incidents, investigate variances, identify root causes, and drive corrective actionsEscalate material incidents promptly to Compliance, Risk Management, and senior managementWork with Compliance and Risk to maintain appropriate AML/CFT controls across relevant operational workflowsSupport internal and external audits, proof-of-reserves reviews, and regulatory submissionsCoordinate with external proof-of-reserves auditors and help ensure the timely submission of required reportsPrepare weekly and monthly wallet-address reports for Compliance and supervisory reportingMaintain complete, accurate, and audit-ready operational recordsTechnology & product readinessWork with Product and Technology to improve automation, scalability, and straight-through processingSupport wallet testing, settlement testing, latency monitoring, and incident-response protocolsMaintain operational readiness for new products, virtual assets, networks, and regulatory requirementsConduct initial operational assessments for the listing or delisting of virtual assetsIdentify operational dependencies and control requirements before new products or capabilities go liveCollaboration & reportingCoordinate with Trading, Finance, and Compliance to maintain an orderly flow across fiat transactions, virtual asset movements, trades, and withdrawalsOwn operational dashboards, reconciliation records, incident logs, and KPIsProvide clear management updates and contribute to governance and regulatory reportingTranslate operational risks and technical issues into clear decisions for senior managementWhat we are looking forEssential experienceHands-on experience administering Fireblocks5 to 7 years of experience across virtual asset operations, settlements, client asset operations, or financial-market operationsStrong knowledge of hot, warm, and cold-wallet infrastructure, MPC key management, and transaction-policy designPractical experience with reconciliations, settlement controls, asset segregation, and operational riskAn understanding of blockchain architecture and its interaction with institutional wallets and settlement systemsThe ability to manage incidents, work under pressure, and respond confidently to regulatory and audit scrutinyExceptional attention to detail, sound judgement, integrity, and operational disciplineExperience within a regulated financial institution, virtual asset business, or VARA-licensed entityFamiliarity with proof-of-reserves processes and regulatory reportingPreferred experienceExperience supporting virtual asset issuance, permissioned-token infrastructure, smart-contract operations, or regulated capital markets productsExposure to issuer, trustee, registrar, escrow, paying agent, or corporate-action workflowsExperience building or materially improving
