• Set and strengthen the governance model for complex SAP programmes, from early solution shaping through mobilisation, delivery, transition and value realisation.
• Lead independent programme health reviews for strategic engagements, identifying delivery, scope, architecture, data, integration, control and stakeholder risks before they become escalations.
• Review high-value SAP solution designs, estimates, delivery approaches and recovery plans, providing clear challenge and practical recommendations to delivery and practice leadership.
• Define proportionate quality gates, assurance standards, escalation paths and executive reporting for the engagements that matter most.
• Advise customer CIOs, business sponsors and transformation leaders on SAP roadmaps, governance, operating models, best practice and sustainable value creation.
• Mentor programme directors, project managers, solution architects and SAP practice leaders, helping them build stronger judgement, confidence and customer leadership.
• Partner with commercial and pre-sales teams on strategic pursuits, executive discovery, account shaping and value cases where senior SAP credibility can improve the quality of the conversation and the probability of winning.
• Help evolve Exalogic's SAP delivery playbook, accelerators, and methods, drawing on lessons from customer programmes and changing market expectations.What good looks like in the first 12 months:
• A practical SAP governance and delivery assurance model is in place for strategic programmes, with clear quality gates, executive reporting and escalation discipline.
• Programme and practice leaders have access to regular, high-quality challenge and mentoring, improving risk anticipation, decision quality and customer communication.
• Key customer CIOs and sponsors recognise Exalogic as a thoughtful, dependable transformation partner, not simply a technology implementer.
• Strategic pursuits benefit from stronger executive discovery, credible delivery assurance and better-defined client value cases.What you bring:
• A career spanning at least 25 years in SAP and enterprise transformation, ideally including around three decades of experience in large, complex organisations.
• Previous experience as a CIO, Group CIO, Chief Digital Officer, SAP practice leader or equivalent enterprise executive, with responsibility for technology strategy, transformation governance or major SAP programmes.
• Deep practical knowledge of SAP transformation across business process, architecture, integration, data, controls, delivery governance, programme management and change adoption.
• A strong record of leading or governing complex, multi-stakeholder SAP programmes, including the ability to recover challenging engagements with calm judgement and decisive action.
• The confidence to challenge constructively at executive level, while building trust with delivery teams and empowering others to succeed.
• Commercial maturity: able to connect delivery quality, customer outcomes, and long-term account growth without compromising integrity or delivery discipline.
• Excellent written and spoken English. GCC experience and Arabic communication capability are advantages, but are not essential.
