The AGM serves as the General Manager's key operational partner and assumes leadership responsibilities in the General Manager's absence.Key Responsibilities1. Hotel Operations ManagementOversee the day-to-day operations of all hotel departments.Ensure effective coordination between Rooms Division, Food & Beverage, Engineering, Security, Finance, Sales & Marketing, and Human Resources.Monitor operational performance and implement corrective actions when necessary.Ensure compliance with hotel policies, procedures, and brand standards.Financial PerformanceSupport the preparation and execution of annual budgets and business plans.Monitor revenue performance, productivity, and operational expenses.Analyze financial reports and identify opportunities for increased profitability.Ensure effective cost control and resource management.4. People ManagementLead, coach, and develop department heads and management teams.Support recruitment, succession planning, and talent development initiatives.Foster employee engagement and a positive work environment.Ensure compliance with labor laws, company policies, and disciplinary procedures.5. Quality Assurance & ComplianceEnsure full compliance with brand standards, health and safety regulations, and company policies.Support internal and external audits.Monitor risk management and emergency preparedness procedures.Maintain operational excellence through continuous improvement programs.6. Strategic LeadershipAssist the General Manager in developing and implementing strategic initiatives.Participate in business reviews, forecasting, and performance analysis.Represent the hotel at meetings, events, and stakeholder engagements when required.Act as General Manager during periods of absence.QualificationsEducationBachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field.Professional hospitality certifications are an advantage.ExperienceMinimum 8-10 years of experience in the hospitality industry.At least 3-5 years in a senior management or executive leadership role.Skills & CompetenciesStrong leadership and team management skills.Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.Financial and business acumen.Strategic thinking and problem-solving capability.Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.Proficiency in hotel management systems and Microsoft Office applications.Fluency in English; additional languages are an advantage.
