This is a unique opportunity for a highly organised and commercially minded professional to work at the heart of a fast-paced international broking business.Whilst the role encompasses traditional Executive Assistant responsibilities, we are particularly interested in candidates who bring practical experience from the London Insurance Market. The successful individual will be expected to support operational priorities where required, making prior knowledge of reinsurance placement processes, broking procedures, and market operations highly advantageous.This role would suit an experienced Executive Assistant with insurance market exposure, or an individual from an operations, broking support, underwriting support, or placement administration background looking to take on a broader, highly visible role supporting senior leadership.ResponsibilitiesManaging a complex and fast-moving calendar, inbox, and meeting schedule for the Managing DirectorActing as a trusted point of contact for internal and external stakeholdersCoordinating meetings, preparing agendas, recording actions, and ensuring effective follow-upSupporting strategic initiatives, projects, and business priorities on behalf of the Managing DirectorManaging travel arrangements, expenses, and other executive administration requirementsLiaising closely with broking, operations, finance, compliance, and other support functionsAssisting with operational workload as required, including support for placement activity, documentation, market submissions, and general reinsurance administrationSupporting the smooth coordination of client, market, and internal communicationsHandling confidential and commercially sensitive information with discretionBuilding strong working relationships across the business and with key external partnersPerforming other duties and responsibilities as reasonably required by the Managing Director and the business.Qualifications & ExperiencePrevious experience supporting a Managing Director, CEO, Partner, or other senior executiveStrong understanding of the London Insurance MarketExperience gained within a broker, reinsurer, insurer, MGA, or Lloyd's market organisationPractical knowledge of reinsurance placement procedures and associated operational processesPrevious exposure to broking support, underwriting support, operations, or placement administration would be highly desirableAbility to balance executive support responsibilities with operational and business-facing activitiesExcellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise effectively in a fast-paced environmentRequired SkillsExcellent communication and stakeholder management skillsHighly organised with exceptional attention to detailProactive, adaptable, and comfortable working independentlyStrong commercial awareness and understanding of insurance market dynamicsAbility to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalismStrong Microsoft Office skills and confidence working across multiple systemsA collaborative approach and willingness to support operational activities when business priorities requireWhat's on OfferThis is an excellent opportunity to join a growing global specialist broker and work closely with senior leadership in a broad and varied role.
