Apply & track with Apply EdgeAbout the jobSTARR LUXURY CARSWe're hiring one person to run my world, not just my diary.Executive Assistant to the FounderLuxury Transport, Hospitality, Timepieces, Finance · London-basedRead this carefully. Most people should not apply. This is not a diary-management job dressed up with a fancy title. I run eight businesses and projects, spanning luxury transport, hospitality and nightlife, timepieces, and investment and finance, alongside a brand ambassador role for a private bank. I need one person sharp enough to move between all of it without dropping a single thread.Starr Luxury Cars is my primary venture, a luxury car hire and chauffeur platform with a private jet brokerage arm. Beyond that I run ventures in hospitality and nightlife, a timepiece brand, and a property investment and management business, alongside my work raising capital and my role as brand ambassador for a private banking institution, among other projects that keep the calendar full.Right now, I am the connective tissue between all of it. Every decision, every follow-up, every "did that get sent" runs through my head, because there's no one else it can run through. That's the ceiling on how much I can build. I want to hand the coordination of my world to someone sharper at it than I am, so I can spend my time on the things only I can do: closing deals, building relationships, and deciding where we go next. That someone is who this ad is for. What this job actually isThis is not inbox triage and coffee orders. This is simple to say and hard to do: become the second brain and the forward guard for a founder running eight businesses at once, and make sure nothing that matters ever slips. You will inherit a world that moves fast and lives largely undocumented, in my head, my WhatsApp threads, and half-finished notes. Your job is to turn that into a tight, anticipatory operation where I show up prepared, every commitment is tracked, and the right people hear from me at the right moment, without me having to ask twice. If that sounds relentless, it is. It is also one of the most interesting seats in London, sitting across luxury mobility, hospitality, timepieces, and finance, with a founder who will hand you real judgement calls once you've earned them. What you'll ownMe, on paper and in practice. My calendar, my inbox, my travel, and my time, across eight businesses and projects, ruthlessly prioritised. The follow-through. Every commitment I make in a meeting, on a call, or in passing gets tracked, chased, and closed. Nothing dies in my memory. The correspondence. Draft and manage communications in my voice across my luxury transport, hospitality, timepiece, and finance ventures, so partners and clients experience one sharp, consistent standard. The gatekeeping. Filter what reaches me and what doesn't. Protect my time from noise without ever costing me an opportunity. The projects. Run the small, high-stakes pieces of work that sit beside the big deals: research, briefing documents, coordination between my teams, and the personal errands that free me up to focus. The discretion. You will see and hear things about deals, people, and money that go nowhere else. That is the job. What great looks like in 6 monthsI walk into every meeting fully briefed, because you made sure of it.Nothing gets missed across eight businesses and projects, because one person is holding the thread across all of them.I spend my time on deals and relationships, not admin, because you took the admin off my plate entirely. You're making judgement calls on my behalf that I'd have made the same way myself.Who you areYou've supported someone at the top before. A founder, a principal, an HNW individual, someone whose time was the scarcest resource in the building. You anticipate, you don't wait. You've spotted the thing that needed doing before anyone asked you to do it.You write like a professional. Your emails and messages, in someone else's voice, read sharp, warm, and precise, never generic. You are unshakeably discreet. Confidential means confidential, always, with no exceptions and no gossip. You move across contexts fluidly. A car fleet matter in the morning, a nightlife venue call at noon, a capital raise deck by 3pm, a private banking event the same evening. You don't need everything to be the same shape. You have extreme ownership. If something falls through, you don't wait for me to notice. You fix it and tell me it's handled.Who you're notI'd rather be blunt now than waste your time and mine:You want a role with fixed hours and a fixed job description, and nothing outside it. This isn't that. You need detailed instructions for every task. I need someone who fills the gaps I haven't thought to spell out. You've only ever managed a calendar, never a relationship or a reputation. You think discretion is a nice-to-have rather than the actual job. You're looking for a stepping stone role you'll leave in six months. I'm looking for someone who wants to grow with this. The dealBase: competitive, depending on experience and the breadth you can carry. We pay for outcomes, not attendance.Access: a genuinely unusual seat, working directly with the founder across luxury transport, hospitality and nightlife, timepieces, and investment and finance, alongside a private banking brand ambassador role and other projects that keep things interesting.
It goes in the bin. If you want this, show me you're the person I described above.Send an email to cars@starrluxurycars.com with the subject line "I'll hold the thread", and answer three things, short and specific, along with your CV:The most demanding principal or founder you've supported, and one thing you did that they never had to ask for twice. How you'd organise a week where you're supporting eight different businesses and projects, each with its own rhythm. One thing you'd need from me on day one to do this job well. That's the filter. If you can't answer those in a way that makes me lean forward, this isn't your role. If you can, you might be exactly who I've been waiting for. I read every one of these myself.Ike, Founder, Starr Luxury Cars
