The Executive Chef oversees daily kitchen operations, including menu execution, food preparation, plating standards, and coordination of the line during service. This role is responsible for leading, training, and scheduling kitchen staff, maintaining safe and sanitary working conditions, and enforcing food safety and hygiene standards. The Executive Chef manages inventory, ordering, and cost control, ensuring efficient use of ingredients and adherence to budget targets. Additional responsibilities include contributing to menu development, monitoring guest satisfaction related to food quality, and collaborating with management to support overall restaurant performance.Qualifications Strong culinary skills, including cooking techniques, recipe development, and menu planning.Experience managing kitchen operations, including staff supervision, scheduling, and workflow coordination.Knowledge of food safety regulations, sanitation practices, and health department standards.Ability to manage inventory, control food costs, and work within established budgets.Effective leadership, communication, and conflict-resolution skills in a fast-paced environment.Prior experience as an Executive Chef, Head Chef, or comparable leadership role in a restaurant setting.Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by restaurant operations.Formal culinary training or relevant certifications are preferred but not required.
