The Executive Chef is responsible for the overall coordination of food preparation, cooking and baking activities, dietary standards, the quality and nutritional value of foods prepared and maintaining a positive, courteous work environment for staff and residents. This person is a key member of the culinary departments management team adhering to policies and procedures and upholding the Community’s mission, philosophy, values and the Company’s vision, principles and Hospitality Promises.Starting salary of $90,000 - commensurate with fine culinary experience.Here are a few of the daily responsibilities: As our culinary leader, you'll oversee daily kitchen operations and create an exceptional dining experience for residents.Lead, coach, schedule, and develop kitchen team members.Recruit, hire, train, and support staff performance.Plan menus and oversee meal preparation for all levels of care.Ensure meals meet quality, presentation, dietary, and food safety standards.Engage with residents to gather feedback and enhance dining services.Manage food ordering, receiving, inventory, and budget performance.Maintain compliance with sanitation, safety, and regulatory requirements.Promote a culture of hospitality, teamwork, and resident satisfaction.What You'll Bring:Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Culinary Arts preferred.3+ years of leadership experience as a Chef, Sous Chef, or Kitchen Manager.Experience in senior living, healthcare, hospitality, or food service preferred.Current ServSafe® certification and required state certifications.Strong knowledge of culinary operations, menu planning, food safety, and budgeting.Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while delivering exceptional service.Many roles in the community may require that we ask about your vaccination status.
