The organization values practical problem-solving, operational excellence, and long-term customer relationships.Role Description The Pricing Executive - Global is a full-time, on-site role based in the United Arab Emirates. This position is responsible for developing competitive freight rates and pricing proposals for international shipments, particularly for metals, ores, and mining materials. Day-to-day tasks include gathering market intelligence, analyzing costs across road, sea, and air modes, and preparing quotations for global clients and partners. The role involves working closely with sales, operations, and carrier contacts to optimize margins, ensure pricing accuracy, and maintain updated rate databases. The Pricing Executive will also monitor industry trends, support contract negotiations, and contribute to continuous improvement of pricing strategies and processes.QualificationsDemonstrated experience in freight pricing, logistics, or shipping, preferably in multimodal transport or bulk commodities.Strong analytical and numerical skills, including cost analysis, margin calculation, and rate benchmarking.Proficiency with spreadsheets and pricing tools (e.g., Excel, ERP/TMS systems), and comfort working with large data sets.Knowledge of international trade practices, Incoterms, and basic customs and documentation requirements.Effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present clear pricing proposals to internal and external stakeholders.Collaborative mindset with the ability to work closely with sales, operations, and carrier/vendor networks.Bachelor’s degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field; relevant professional certifications are an advantage.Prior experience in the United Arab Emirates or GCC logistics market is beneficial.Comfort working in a fast-paced, globally oriented environment and adapting to changing market conditions.
