Location: IslamabadReporting to: Senior Manager Convergence PlatformsJob Type: PermanentJob Purpose: To design & develop a wide range of applications using .Net Core, MVC, JavaScript, user-friendly UIs and web layouts using HTML and CSS.

Job Responsibilities

Build high-quality, scalable web applications on the Microsoft technology stack and maintain existing web applications using .Net Core framework.Create and direct software system testing procedures, documentation, and programming to ensure all software is properly developed and regularly tested for quality assurance.Participate in requirements gathering & analysis.Collaborate with internal functional teams to produce software design and architecture.Write clean, scalable code using .NET programming languages.Test and deploy applications and systems.Revise, update, refactor, and debug code.Make regular modifications to existing software for error correction, adaptation to new hardware, and to improve overall function and performance.Evaluate new code for reliable architecture, stability, reusability, performance, automation, security, and metrics.Supervise other team members, including programmers, engineers and technicians, to ensure quality work, reliability, overall performance and adherence to company standardsDevelop documentation throughout the software development life cycle (SDLC).Eligibility Criteria (Education, Knowledge, Experience and Skills):Education: In principle to have a minimum of a bachelor’s degree, preferably in IT/Computer science/Software engineering.Preferably have MS degree.Certifications in relevant domain will be a plus.Work Experience:Preferably, a minimum of 3-5 years of progressive experience in software development, delivering enterprise-grade applications across diverse technologies, platforms, and software development methodologies.Preferably extensive hands-on experience in modern software engineering practices, including microservices architecture, API development, distributed systems, database design, application architecture, system integration, and scalable solution design.Strong understanding of enterprise data architecture, technology platforms, risk management principles, and the design and implementation of secure, scalable, and resilient technology solutions.Experience in mobile app development using Flutter will be a plus.Skills – Generic:Communication Skills.Interpersonal Skills.Analytical Skills.Time Management.Result-oriented.Skills – Job Specific:Preferably, 3-5 years of development experience.UI Design (HTML5, CSS, Bootstrap, JavaScript, AJAX, jQuery).Visual Studio 2019 or higher.Experienced in Microservices, AI, Docker, and other technology integrations.Organizational skills with ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks and responsibilities.Strong customer service orientation skills.Ability to interact with all levels of staff; strong verbal and listening skills.Experience within a large-scale technology or services organization, with proven expertise in software project leadership, delivery governance, stakeholder management, and oversight of complex application development initiatives.Strong knowledge of software development lifecycle (SDLC), Agile delivery methodologies, DevOps practices, quality assurance frameworks, and application lifecycle management.
