قدّم وتابع مع أبلاي إيدجHELP SHAPE THE FUTURE OF ONE OF BIRMINGHAM’S MOST EXCITING DISTRICTSFollowing a successful ballot in 2026, Digbeth Business Improvement District (BID) is looking for an exceptional Executive BID Director to become the founding executive lead of this ambitious new organisation.Digbeth is one of Birmingham’s most distinctive, creative and fast-evolving districts – home to an extraordinary mix of creative and cultural businesses, hospitality, industry, property, professional services and independent enterprise. This is a rare opportunity to build a new BID from the ground up and turn an ambitious five-year Business Plan into visible, measurable change.THE OPPORTUNITYReporting directly to the Chair and Board, you will provide the strategic leadership, energy and hands-on delivery needed to establish Digbeth BID and make an immediate impact.You will:Lead the delivery of the BID’s five-year vision, priorities and investment programme.Build the organisation, establishing the team, systems, partnerships and infrastructure needed for success.Champion Digbeth and its businesses, providing a strong and influential voice across Birmingham and the wider West Midlands.Develop trusted relationships with levy-paying businesses, Birmingham City Council, public agencies, developers and other key partners.Oversee the BID’s finances, governance and performance, ensuring businesses see clear value and measurable results from their investment.Lead projects and services that help make Digbeth cleaner, safer, better connected and an even more successful place to do business.Secure additional investment, including grants, sponsorship, commercial partnerships and other funding opportunities.Build momentum from day one, laying the foundations for a successful and sustainable BID.WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?You will be an experienced, credible and entrepreneurial leader with a strong record in place management, economic development, regeneration, business engagement or another complex multi-stakeholder environment.You’ll combine strategic thinking with the ability to make things happen. You will be commercially aware, politically astute and confident working with businesses, Boards and senior public and private-sector partners. Crucially, you will understand how to turn ambitious ideas into practical projects and measurable results. Previous BID experience would be advantageous, but it is not essential. What matters most is leadership, judgement, commercial awareness, relationship-building skills and the ambition to make a real difference to Digbeth.WHY DIGBETH?This isn’t an opportunity to simply manage an established organisation.
