Role Description The Executive Director role at Durity is a part-time, hybrid position based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, with flexibility for some work from home. The Executive Director will oversee strategic direction, drive business development, and strengthen client relationships across accounting and compliance services. Responsibilities include guiding operations, ensuring service quality, and aligning regional activities with global objectives. The role entails collaborating with leadership teams, identifying growth opportunities in the UAE and broader Middle East region, and representing Durity in key stakeholder meetings. The Executive Director will also support risk management, oversee high-level financial and regulatory initiatives, and mentor local team members to promote a culture of accountability and performance.QualificationsExtensive experience in executive leadership, preferably within accounting, compliance, or professional services.Strong background in strategic planning, business development, and operational oversight.Deep understanding of regulatory and compliance frameworks, particularly in international and cross-border contexts.Proven ability to build and maintain senior-level client and stakeholder relationships.Excellent communication, negotiation, and decision-making skills.Experience working in or with UAE and Middle East markets is highly beneficial.Ability to thrive in a hybrid work environment and collaborate effectively across global teams.Advanced degree in business, finance, accounting, or a related field preferred; professional certifications (e.g., CPA, CA, CMA) are an advantage.
