Qiddiya Investment Company is seeking an accomplished Executive Director Commercial to lead and oversee all commercial activities related to significant Construction Development within Qiddiya. This senior leadership position will play a critical role in driving the commercial strategy, managing high-value contracts, and ensuring the successful delivery of projects that align with Qiddiya's vision and objectives.The Executive Director Commercial will be responsible for steering commercial operations, contract negotiations, risk management, and stakeholder engagement across a large-scale construction development projects. You will lead a dynamic commercial team, fostering a high-performance culture focused on delivering value, efficiency, and compliance.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and implement comprehensive commercial strategies that support project and company goalsLead negotiations and management of contracts, ensuring favorable terms and risk mitigationOversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting to optimize project commercial performanceCollaborate closely with project directors, legal teams, and external partners to manage commercial risks and opportunitiesDrive continuous improvement in commercial processes and systems to enhance efficiency and transparencyBuild and maintain strong relationships with contractors, suppliers, and key stakeholdersEnsure compliance with relevant laws, regulatory requirements, and internal policiesProvide leadership, mentorship, and development opportunities to the commercial teamRequirementsBachelor's degree in Business, Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, or a related field; a Master's degree or professional qualifications (e.g., RICS, MCIOB) are highly desirable15+ years of experience in commercial management within the large-scale construction development sector, with at least 7 years in a senior leadership roleProven expertise in contract negotiation, commercial strategy development, and risk managementStrong financial acumen with experience managing multi-million dollar project budgets and forecastsExcellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skillsAbility to work effectively in a fast-paced, complex, and multicultural environmentExperience with Middle Eastern construction markets and relevant regulatory environments is preferredProficiency in commercial management software and project management toolsBenefitsOffering a comprehensive compensation and benefits package.
