Executive Director – Fixed Income

A leading investment organisation in the UAE is looking to appoint an Executive Director – Fixed Income to lead the management and implementation of its Fixed Income investment activities.Key ResponsibilitiesManage Fixed Income portfolios across sovereign bonds, corporate credit, structured products and other debt instruments.Lead portfolio construction, investment selection, trade execution and ongoing risk monitoring.Assess market developments, interest rates, credit conditions and macroeconomic trends to support investment decisions.Identify and evaluate Direct Investment and Private Credit opportunities.Develop and maintain strong relationships with banks, brokers, issuers, sponsors and other market participants.Leverage an established UAE/GCC network to source investment and credit opportunities.Prepare investment papers, credit notes, portfolio reports and materials for senior management/investment committees.Work closely with Risk, Compliance, Legal and Operations to ensure effective governance and execution.Monitor portfolio performance, exposures and adherence to investment guidelines.Support the development of junior members within the Fixed Income team.Ideal ProfileSenior investment professional with strong experience across Fixed Income and Credit.Must be an Emirati.Proven portfolio management and investment execution experience.Strong understanding of sovereign and corporate credit markets.Experience in Private Credit / Direct Investments is highly desirable.Strong network across the UAE/GCC investment and financial markets.Exposure to Shariah-compliant investments would be advantageous.Strong analytical, communication and stakeholder management skills.If you have the relevant experience and are open to a confidential discussion, please get in touch or apply directly.
