Executive Director of Pilates

Job PurposeThe Executive Director of Pilates is responsible for setting and leading the overall Pilates strategy, technical direction, program standards, and instructor excellence across the organization. The role ensures that Pilates programs deliver exceptional quality, remain aligned with industry best practices, and provide a consistent and premium client experience.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and lead the organization’s overall Pilates strategy, methodology, and program direction.Establish and maintain technical standards for Pilates classes, private sessions, programs, and instructor practices.Lead the development of new Pilates programs, concepts, class formats, and service offerings.Oversee the recruitment, assessment, onboarding, and development of Pilates instructors and senior trainers.Establish instructor competency standards, training programs, certification requirements, and performance criteria.Monitor class quality and ensure consistency of Pilates delivery across studios and locations.Conduct regular technical evaluations and provide coaching and development to instructors.Stay updated on international Pilates trends, methodologies, equipment, certifications, and industry best practices.Collaborate with the General Manager on business growth, studio expansion, service development, and customer experience.Support the development of instructor capacity plans based on studio demand and expansion requirements.Ensure Pilates programs meet appropriate safety, quality, and professional standards.Represent the organization in relevant Pilates, fitness, wellness, and industry events and partnerships.QualificationsBachelor’s degree in a related field.Recognized Pilates certification from a reputable international training organization is highly preferred.Minimum 8–12 years of experience within Pilates, fitness, or wellness, with significant experience in Pilates leadership.Strong knowledge of Pilates methodologies, equipment, programming, and instructor development.Proven experience managing and developing large teams of Pilates instructors or fitness professionals.Experience establishing technical standards, training frameworks, and quality assurance processes.Experience supporting multiple studios or large-scale Pilates operations is highly preferred.Strong leadership, coaching, communication, and stakeholder management skills.Strong commercial awareness with the ability to connect Pilates quality with customer experience and business growth.Fluency in English; Arabic is an advantage.
