A Landmark Leadership Opportunity in Hospitality DevelopmentA prestigious private developer in Saudi Arabia is seeking to appoint an exceptional Executive Director – Delivery to lead the successful execution of a portfolio of world-class hospitality developments in AlUla.Reporting directly to the Chief Executive, this is a highly strategic leadership position responsible for driving end-to-end delivery of complex, high-profile projects — ensuring excellence across construction execution, programme delivery, quality, commercial performance, and stakeholder management.The successful candidate will play a key role in shaping some of the Kingdom’s most ambitious hospitality developments, working alongside leading contractors, consultants, operators, and internal project teams.The RoleThe Executive Director – Delivery will provide executive oversight across multiple major developments, leading project execution from early mobilisation through completion and handover.This role requires a leader who combines deep contracting expertise with strong client-side capability, bringing the ability to understand construction realities while effectively representing and protecting the developer’s interests.Key Responsibilities• Lead the delivery of major hospitality developments from construction commencement through final handover • Provide strategic direction to project teams, contractors, consultants, and key stakeholders • Oversee programme, cost, quality, risk, and HSE performance across multiple assets • Drive delivery strategies, construction methodologies, and project optimisation initiatives • Manage complex contractor relationships and ensure accountability for performance • Ensure alignment between design, procurement, construction, and operational requirements • Resolve critical delivery challenges within fast-paced and high-profile environments • Maintain international standards across luxury hospitality developments • Support commercial and contractual decision-making at executive levelCandidate ProfileMandatory Requirements:• Senior leadership experience within major construction organisations and/or leading developers • Proven track record delivering large-scale, complex projects in Saudi Arabia • Strong background in main contracting with significant client-side exposure • Experience managing the complete project lifecycle from concept through completion • Demonstrated leadership on high-value, complex developmentsHighly Preferred:• Luxury hospitality, hotel, resort, or mixed-use development experience • Experience working with international hotel operators and premium brands • Exposure to Saudi giga-projects or landmark private developments • Strong reputation and established relationships within the Saudi construction marketKey Competencies• Exceptional project delivery and leadership capability • Strong understanding of construction execution and contracting practices • Commercially astute with sound contractual knowledge • Ability to influence senior stakeholders and manage complex environments • Strong executive presence with excellent communication skillsWhy This Opportunity?This is a rare opportunity to join a highly respected developer delivering some of Saudi Arabia’s most significant hospitality projects.The ideal candidate will be a recognised industry leader with an outstanding professional reputation, combining contracting expertise, client-side understanding, and executive-level delivery leadership.Saudi nationals are strongly preferred; however, exceptional international candidates with the right Saudi market experience will also be considered.All shortlisted candidates will undergo detailed professional reference and market reputation checks due to the strategic importance and visibility of this appointment.Confidential Executive Search Assignment Location: AlUla, Saudi Arabia
