Job SummaryThe Executive Financial Analysis and Support Unit Supervisor is responsible for leading financial analysis activities, providing strategic financial insights, supporting executive decision-making, overseeing budgeting and financial reporting processes, and ensuring the delivery of accurate financial information to senior management. The role focuses on enhancing financial performance, supporting strategic initiatives, and driving continuous improvement within the Financial Analysis and Executive Support Unit.Key ResponsibilitiesFinancial AnalysisLead the preparation of financial analysis, forecasts, and business performance reports.Analyze financial statements, operational performance, and key financial indicators.Evaluate financial risks and identify opportunities to improve profitability and efficiency.Conduct variance analysis between budgets, forecasts, and actual financial results.Develop financial models to support strategic business decisions.Executive Financial SupportProvide financial recommendations and decision-support analysis to executive management.Prepare executive-level dashboards, presentations, and management reports.Support executive committees with financial insights for strategic initiatives.Translate complex financial information into clear recommendations for senior leadership.Budgeting & PlanningCoordinate the annual budgeting and forecasting process.Monitor departmental budgets and ensure compliance with financial plans.Support long-term financial planning and resource allocation initiatives.Recommend budget optimization opportunities.Performance ManagementDevelop and monitor financial KPIs across business units.Identify trends and recommend corrective actions to improve financial performance.Support business units in achieving financial targets.Governance & ComplianceEnsure compliance with financial policies, internal controls, and applicable regulations.Support internal and external audit activities.Maintain the accuracy and integrity of financial information.Promote financial governance and best practices.Leadership & CollaborationSupervise and mentor Financial Analysts within the unit.Coordinate with Finance, Strategy, Investment, Procurement, and other business functions.Foster a culture of continuous improvement and analytical excellence.Lead process improvement initiatives within the financial analysis function.ReportingPrepare monthly, quarterly, and annual executive financial reports.Present financial findings and recommendations to executive leadership.Perform other related duties assigned by management.Experience6–9 years of experience in Financial Analysis, Corporate Finance, FP&A, or Financial Planning.At least 2 years in a supervisory or team leadership role.Experience supporting executive management is highly desirable.Experience within government, semi-government, investment, or large corporate organizations is preferred.Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.Master's degree (MBA or Finance) is preferred.Professional certifications such as CFA, CPA, CMA, or FMVA are highly preferred.
