After more than 25 years at the forefront of the industry, the property will undergo a carefully considered restoration led by renowned designer Tristan Auer, bringing a refined contemporary vision while preserving the legacy, craftsmanship, and spirit of this extraordinary landmark.About the JobAn exciting opportunity has arisen for an Executive Housekeeper to join Jumeirah Burj Al Arab.The main duties and responsibilities of this role include:Lead the pre-opening Housekeeping strategy for Jumeirah Burj Al Arab, shaping the full pre-launch plan across service standards, guest experience rituals, operating equipment, OS&E selection and procurement, recruitment, training and operational implementation ahead of opening.Set, embed and continuously elevate housekeeping standards, procedures and service rituals in line with Jumeirah’s brand expectations, ensuring every suite, public area and colleague touchpoint reflects immaculate care, precision and thoughtful detail.Oversee departmental operations, workforce planning, training and team performance, inspiring a highly engaged Housekeeping team that is empowered, accountable and committed to delivering exceptional guest experiences.Manage departmental budgets, inventories, linen, uniforms, operating equipment and guest supplies with strong commercial discipline, ensuring effective cost control while upholding the quality and refinement expected of Jumeirah Burj Al Arab.Partner closely with Rooms, Front Office, Engineering and external suppliers to ensure seamless operational readiness, timely maintenance, efficient repairs and a beautifully cared-for hotel environment throughout the pre-opening phase and beyond.Champion innovation in housekeeping methods, equipment, products and guest amenities, benchmarking against leading luxury hotels globally to keep Jumeirah Burj Al Arab at the forefront of distinctive, purposeful and inspiring hospitality.About YouThe ideal candidate for this position will have the following experience and qualifications:Minimum 15 years’ experience in housekeeping operations within luxury hospitality, including substantial leadership experience in a complex, high-profile hotel environment.Significant pre-opening experience within luxury hotels or resorts is essential, with the confidence to build plans, mobilise teams and translate brand ambition into operational readiness.Strong understanding of the difference between pre-opening and operating environments, with the hands-on approach, agility and judgement required to move from planning through to successful implementation.Solution-oriented leadership style, with the resilience, pace and composure to lead large, diverse teams in a dynamic Dubai environment, creating a culture of pride, precision and continuous improvement.Strong operational and financial acumen, with experience managing departmental budgets, inventories, quality audits, policies, procedures and compliance standards while translating luxury guest expectations into impeccable execution.About the BenefitsAt Jumeirah, we are dedicated to fostering a workplace where colleagues feel valued, supported, and inspired to grow.
