Executive Manager - Equity Investments

Hays is partnering with a leading UAE bank on the appointment of an Executive Manager, Equity Investments within its Asset Management business.This is a hands-on portfolio management role for an experienced equity investor. You will run discretionary equity portfolios and funds, shape differentiated investment strategies, and act as a key voice on positioning and performance for relationship managers and clients.You will manage discretionary equity portfolios and funds within approved mandates and risk parameters, covering portfolio construction, security selection and position sizing. You will build a disciplined, research-led investment process, oversee performance and risk, and contribute to equity strategy and product development. You will also support relationship managers and clients with investment insight, and lead a small team.

Requirements

8+ years of equity investment management experience within an asset manager, sovereign wealth fund, private bank or family officeBachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, Accounting or a related fieldCFA or CAIA qualifiedStrong research, valuation, financial modelling and risk management skillsConfident communicator with clients and able influence senior stakeholdersGCC experience highly desirable This is a top bank in the UAE and they are offering an attractive compensation package for the selected candidate.
