Apply & track with Apply EdgeWe are recruiting on behalf of a growing UAE-based company serving the oil and gas industry.The successful candidate will work directly with the Managing Director to organise priorities, prepare useful briefings and ensure timely follow-through across commercial, financial, contractual and operational matters.This opportunity suits an organised, analytical and dependable professional who enjoys learning, taking ownership and supporting senior management. Depending on performance and business needs, the position may develop into broader executive office responsibilities.Key responsibilitiesManage the Managing Director’s calendar, meetings, travel and priorities.Prepare agendas and concise briefing notes, record decisions and track actions and deadlines.Draft correspondence and manage selected communications within agreed approval arrangements.Coordinate financial matters with accountants and advisers, keeping financial decisions with authorised decision-makers.Organise contract documentation, coordinate legal reviews and monitor deadlines and outstanding matters.Research customers, markets and competitors, presenting accurate and practical summaries.Develop an understanding of the company’s technical activities, projects and operating priorities, identify gaps in follow-through and escalate significant concerns.Use appropriate AI tools for research, drafting and administration while protecting confidential information and verifying outputs.Essential qualificationsFluent professional English and French, both written and spoken. Both languages are mandatory.A demonstrable technical or engineering background, gained through education or professional experience.A bachelor’s degree in engineering, a technical discipline or another relevant analytical field.Strong writing, research, organisational and interpersonal skills.The ability to turn complex technical and business information into clear, concise briefings.Sound judgement regarding priorities, confidentiality, delegated authority and escalation.Confidence in following up with senior internal and external stakeholders.Initiative, personal accountability and composure when priorities change.Relevant executive-support or business-coordination experience is valuable. Demonstrated potential, learning ability and sound judgement will also carry significant weight.Desirable qualifications and experienceA master’s degree.Experience in the oil and gas industry or another industrial environment.Familiarity with finance, contracts or legal coordination.Experience preparing executive briefings or management reports.Arabic-language skills.How to applyPlease submit your CV, including your current location, notice period and work-authorisation status.
