Executive Vice President

Role Description The Executive Vice President is a full-time remote role responsible for providing strategic leadership and oversight across academic, administrative, and operational functions of Maa Bhawani Mahavidyalaya. This role will collaborate closely with the governing body and senior faculty to shape institutional policies, drive academic excellence, and support program development. Day-to-day responsibilities include reviewing and refining strategic plans, monitoring key performance indicators, guiding budget allocation and resource management, and ensuring regulatory and accreditation compliance. The Executive Vice President will coordinate with cross-functional teams, support faculty development initiatives, and foster partnerships with external organizations to enhance the institution’s reputation and offerings. The role also involves regular reporting to leadership, risk assessment, and recommending process improvements to strengthen institutional governance and student outcomes.QualificationsStrong leadership and strategic planning skills, with demonstrated experience in higher education administration or institutional management.Expertise in academic governance, policy development, and regulatory compliance within the education sector.Proficiency in organizational management, including budgeting, resource allocation, and performance monitoring.Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and negotiation skills to collaborate effectively with faculty, staff, and external partners.Ability to work independently in a remote setting, manage multiple priorities, and make data-informed decisions.Advanced degree in education, management, public administration, or a related field; doctoral-level qualifications are an advantage.Experience with quality assurance, accreditation processes, and continuous improvement initiatives in academic institutions.Familiarity with digital tools and remote collaboration platforms to support virtual meetings, planning, and reporting.Commitment to ethical leadership, inclusivity, and the long-term development of students and the surrounding community.
