Company Description IEEE AAST Cairo Student Branch is part of IEEE, the world’s largest technical professional organization dedicated to advancing engineering and technology. The branch represents the Arab Academy for Science and Technology in Cairo, creating a creative environment and connecting AAST students across Egypt. It aims to be a leading student activity in the country by collaborating with engineering companies, course providers, and other IEEE branches. The branch focuses on innovation, personal development, fun, and respect through projects, events, and competitions at local, national, and international levels. Its mission is to equip members with strong technical and professional skills that prepare them for the labor market.Role Description The Executive Vice President of Treasury Management is a full-time remote role responsible for overseeing the student branch’s treasury operations and financial strategy. This role involves managing cash flow, budgeting, and financial planning to support events, projects, and competitions. The Executive Vice President will monitor treasury services and banking relationships, ensure accurate financial records, and prepare periodic financial reports for the executive board. Daily tasks include assessing funding needs, optimizing resource allocation, supporting sponsorship and fundraising initiatives, and enforcing financial policies and controls. The role also collaborates closely with other leadership members to align financial decisions with the branch’s mission, vision, and long-term objectives.Qualifications Candidates should possess skills in Treasury Services and Treasury Management to design, oversee, and optimize the branch’s treasury function.Candidates should possess skills in Finance and Cash Management to handle budgeting, forecasting, cash flow monitoring, and financial analysis.Candidates should possess skills in Business Relationship Management to build and maintain strong relationships with banks, sponsors, donors, and strategic partners.Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail and accuracy in financial documentation.Experience or coursework in accounting, finance, or business administration is preferred; student leadership or extracurricular finance experience is a plus.Ability to work independently in a remote setting, manage multiple priorities, and communicate clearly with diverse stakeholders.Commitment to ethical conduct, transparency, and collaborative decision-making in all financial matters.
