Company Description Purpose Healthcare is a multidisciplinary allied health provider serving clients across the Illawarra through practices in Woonona, Thirroul, Fairy Meadow, and Dapto. The team supports private and NDIS clients, as well as individuals accessing workers compensation, chronic health care plans, and pre-employment medicals. Services include physiotherapy, strength and conditioning, mobile and in-home therapy, hydrotherapy, dry needling, massage, exercise physiology, and shockwave therapy. Purpose Healthcare focuses on helping clients move and live with purpose through evidence-based, client-centered care and collaborative rehabilitation.Role Description This is a full-time Exercise Physiologist role in a hybrid arrangement based in Bulli, NSW, with some work-from-home flexibility. The Exercise Physiologist will assess clients’ functional capacity, design and deliver individualized exercise prescriptions, and provide education to support safe, effective rehabilitation. Day-to-day tasks include conducting in-clinic and community-based sessions, monitoring client progress, documenting treatment plans and outcomes, and collaborating with physiotherapists and other health professionals. The role also involves working with private and NDIS clients, as well as those under workers compensation and chronic disease management plans, while contributing to high-quality, person-centered care.Qualifications Demonstrated skills in Exercise Physiology and Exercise Prescription for diverse client populations.Strong foundation in Physiology and evidence-based Rehabilitation approaches.Experience or interest in Cardiac Rehabilitation and other chronic condition management programs.Tertiary qualification in Exercise Physiology or equivalent, with relevant professional registration/accreditation (e.g., ESSA or similar).Ability to conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and maintain accurate clinical documentation.Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with a client-centered and inclusive approach.Comfort working in a multidisciplinary team and adapting to both in-clinic and community/home settings.Basic IT skills for telehealth, remote work, and electronic health records; current driver’s license is beneficial.
