Apply & track with Apply EdgeJob PurposeExhibition & Events Site Manager is responsible for leading the end-to-end execution of exhibition, events, and experiential projects across multiple venues, ensuring the successful installation, operation, and dismantling of temporary structures, exhibition stands, and event infrastructure. The role oversees all on-site activities within compressed project timelines, ensuring compliance with venue regulations, client requirements, quality standards, and health & safety protocols. Site Manager acts as the primary site leader, coordinating internal teams, subcontractors, venue management, exhibition organizers, logistics providers, and other stakeholders to deliver projects safely, efficiently, and on schedule while maintaining the highest standards of operational excellence and client satisfaction.Site Operations & Event DeliveryLead and manage all on-site activities throughout the build-up, live event support, and dismantling phases for exhibitions, events, and experiential projects.Ensure projects are delivered safely, on schedule, within budget, and in compliance with approved designs, technical specifications, quality standards, and venue requirements.Manage multiple exhibition stands and client projects simultaneously while meeting fixed and non-negotiable event opening deadlines.Site Leadership & Stakeholder CoordinationLead, supervise, and develop Site Engineers, Supervisors, installation teams, subcontractors, and specialistvendors to ensure safe and efficient project execution.Act as the primary site representative, coordinating with clients, exhibition organizers, venue management,logistics providers, freight handlers, and other contractors to ensure seamless site operations.Resolve site issues proactively while maintaining effective communication with all internal and externalstakeholders.Planning, Technical Execution & Resource ManagementPlan and oversee site execution activities, including manpower allocation, installation sequencing, equipment utilization, logistics, and material availability.Review technical drawings, fabrication details, and installation methodologies to ensure accurate execution of custom-built stands, modular systems, branding, graphics, furniture, AV systems, and temporary eventinfrastructure.Develop contingency plans to accommodate last-minute design revisions, operational changes, andcompressed build-up and move-out schedules.Quality, Safety & Venue ComplianceEnsure compliance with company standards, venue regulations, exhibition organizer requirements, and applicable safety standards related to temporary structures, rigging, truss systems, temporary electrical installations, and fire safety.Conduct regular quality inspections, site audits, and risk assessments while implementing corrective actions to maintain operational excellence and project compliance.Promote a proactive safety culture that protects personnel, visitors, assets, and venue facilities throughout all project phases.Commercial & Client ManagementMonitor project progress, resource utilization, and site costs to support efficient project execution and profitability.Manage site variations, change requests, and client requirements while minimizing operational disruption and maintaining project schedules.Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and key stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery and high levels of customer satisfaction.Performance Monitoring & Continuous ImprovementTrack project performance against schedule, quality, safety, productivity, and budget objectives, implementing corrective actions where required.Prepare accurate progress reports, site documentation, and project handover records for management and clients.Capture lessons learned and drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency,execution quality, and future project delivery.Education & CertificationBachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, Interior Design, Project Management, or a related disciplineEquivalent practical experience within exhibition, event production, experiential marketing, or temporary structure companies will also be considered.PMP certification is an advantageIOSH, NEBOSH, or equivalent HSE certification is preferredExperienceMinimum 7 years of experience in construction, events, fit-out, or engineering projects.Minimum 3 years in a Site Manager or equivalent leadership role.OtherProven experience managing multiple exhibitions stands or event installations simultaneously under tight build-up and dismantling schedules.Strong understanding of venue operations, exhibition regulations, temporary structures, modular systems, graphics installation, furniture, AV coordination, and site logistics.Excellent English communication and technical documentation skills; Arabic is an advantageProven ability to lead site operations, manage installation and dismantling activities, allocate resources, and ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and in accordance with project objectives.Strong knowledge of construction methodologies, engineering principles, technical drawings, installation procedures, quality standards, and project management tools, with the ability to resolve complex technical challenges.Demonstrated ability to lead multidisciplinary teams, supervise subcontractors, build collaborative relationships, and communicate effectively with clients, consultants, suppliers, and internal stakeholders.Comprehensive understanding of Quality Assurance/Quality Control (QA/QC), Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) regulations, compliance requirements, risk assessment, and the implementation of corrective and preventive actions.Excellent analytical, organizational, and decision-making skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities, optimize resources, control costs, prepare performance reports, and drive continuous improvement in project execution.
