Expediting & Inspection Specialist (EPC Project) – Abu Dhabi BranchAre you a highly proactive Expediting & Inspection professional with a solid track record of tracking, auditing, and accelerating critical equipment deliveries for major EPC projects? Arkad is expanding its operations for a strategic, local EPC project in the Abu Dhabi area. We are looking for a hands-on Expediting & Inspection Specialist to join our team under an Abu Dhabi contractual framework.Note: This position focuses strictly on operational project execution, direct package expediting, and coordination with suppliers and third-party inspectors, rather than team leadership, training, or department-level management.Key Responsibilities and Duties:Direct Vendor Expediting: Ensure full compliance with Vendor contract obligations regarding delivery dates, the submission of Supply Progress Reports, and all other documentation required for successful Purchase Order (PO) execution.Progress Report Analysis: Directly review and analyze Manufacturing Progress Reports (MPR) and fabrication schedules for main and critical packages.Bottleneck Mitigation: Proactively identify potential supplier delays, carry out root-cause analyses of manufacturing bottlenecks, and execute effective recovery plans with suppliers to secure project deadlines.Expediting Surveillance: Apply and execute defined Expediting Surveillance Levels to all assigned vendor packages throughout the manufacturing cycle.Inspection Coordination: Support the Project Inspector Coordinator in managing vendors' inspection notifications and coordinating with third-party inspectors. Support the Engineering Department in tracking and following up on vendor technical document submissions.Agency & Project Support: Coordinate directly with external Expediting Agencies to track field status and evaluate agency CVs. Assist the Project Procurement Coordinator to ensure all project, Client, and monthly reporting requirements are met on time.Traceability & Audits: Monitor findings and ensure the closure of corrective actions at the vendor shops, verifying compliance with Company quality standards and procedures.Your Profile:Experience: 5+ years of hands-on experience in post-order expediting and inspection activities within Oil & Gas, Energy, or Petrochemical EPC projects.Technical & Industry Knowledge: Thorough understanding of industry practices in managing post-order activities, manufacturing processes, and quality surveillance.Key Skills: High pro-activity, strong analytical capabilities, collaborative work style, and structured problem-solving skills under tight deadlines.Languages: Fluent written and spoken English.
