The accountant will manage day-to-day financial operations, including posting journal entries, maintaining general ledgers, and reconciling bank and cash accounts. Responsibilities include preparing financial statements, monitoring accounts payable and receivable, processing invoices and payments, and ensuring accurate recording of revenue and expenses. The role involves preparing budgets, forecasts, and management reports, supporting audits, and ensuring compliance with relevant tax laws and financial regulations. The accountant will also collaborate with operations and management teams to provide financial insights, improve internal controls, and support strategic decision-making.QualificationsStrong skills in financial accounting, general ledger management, and preparation of financial statements.Proficiency in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis to support management reporting and business planning.Solid understanding of accounts payable, accounts receivable, invoicing, and cash/bank reconciliation processes.Experience with accounting software and enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems; advanced Microsoft Excel skills.Knowledge of Nigerian tax laws, regulatory requirements, and audit procedures, with ability to ensure compliance.Excellent attention to detail, numerical accuracy, and problem-solving abilities in a fast-paced environment.Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and external partners.Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; professional certification (e.g., ACA, ACCA) is an added advantage.Several years of relevant accounting experience, preferably within healthcare, retail, or service-oriented organization.Renumeration:between 200,000 to 300,000
