This role offers the opportunity to work alongside industry-leading organizations across Oil & Gas, Power & Utilities, Mining, Renewables, and Industrial sectors, helping them strengthen governance, enhance operational performance, and manage business risks effectively.As part of a dynamic consulting team, you will deliver internal audit, risk advisory, internal controls, and operational improvement engagements while gaining exposure to emerging technologies such as Artificial Intelligence (AI), Internet of Things (IoT), Robotics, and Advanced Analytics.This position is ideal for professionals looking to build deep industry expertise while accelerating their consulting career within a collaborative and globally connected environment.Your Key ResponsibilitiesClient Delivery & AdvisoryExecute and manage internal audit, risk assessment, governance, risk, and compliance (GRC), and advisory engagements across the Natural Resources & Energy sector.Assess and strengthen internal control frameworks, operational processes, and risk management practices.Perform reviews across exploration, drilling, production, refining, petrochemicals, power generation, utilities, renewable energy, mining, infrastructure, logistics, and related operations.Identify operational inefficiencies, compliance gaps, emerging risks, and opportunities for process optimization.Develop high-quality audit reports, risk assessments, planning memoranda, process documentation, and executive presentations.Support engagement management activities, including planning, execution, quality assurance, and project reporting.Sector & Market DevelopmentBuild effective working relationships with client stakeholders across operational and corporate functions.Support business development initiatives, proposal preparation, and sector-focused pursuits.Contribute to thought leadership, industry research, and market intelligence activities.Collaborate with regional and global teams to develop sector-specific solutions and service offerings.Innovation & Digital EnablementSupport the integration of AI, Data Analytics, IoT, Robotics, and digital technologies into client engagements.Assist in developing technology-enabled audit and risk management approaches.Monitor industry developments, regulatory changes, sustainability initiatives, and technological trends impacting the energy sector.Contribute to the development of proprietary methodologies, tools, and digital assets.Team Collaboration & DevelopmentMentor and coach junior team members on technical and engagement-related matters.Contribute to knowledge-sharing initiatives and capability development programs.Foster collaboration and support a culture of continuous learning and innovation.Participate in performance and development discussions where appropriate.Qualifications & ExperienceProfessional Experience3–5 years of experience in Risk Advisory, Internal Audit, Internal Controls, Operational Risk, Compliance, or related consulting services.Experience within leading consulting firms, industrial organizations, energy companies, manufacturing environments, or advisory practices is highly preferred.Exposure to one or more Natural Resources & Energy sectors, including:Oil & Gas (Upstream, Midstream, Downstream)Petrochemicals & RefiningPower & UtilitiesRenewable EnergyMining & MetalsEnergy Infrastructure & ServicesTechnical KnowledgeExperience in one or more of the following areas:Exploration, drilling, production, refining, and petrochemical operationsPower generation and utility operationsMining and mineral processing activitiesCapital projects (CAPEX) and project governance reviewsEngineering, Procurement & Construction (EPC) environmentsEnvironment, Health & Safety (EHS) assessmentsContract management and project controlsAsset integrity, maintenance, reliability, and operational excellenceEducationBachelor's degree in engineering (Petroleum, Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, Instrumentation, Metallurgy, or related discipline).Postgraduate qualifications (MBA, M.Tech, or equivalent) will be considered an advantage.Professional CertificationsCandidates should possess or be actively pursuing one or more of the following:Certified Internal Auditor (CIA)ISO Lead Auditor CertificationsAPI CertificationsIntegrated Management Systems (IMS) CertificationsOther relevant industry-recognized certificationsSkills & CompetenciesStrong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities.Strong report-writing and presentation skills.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.Exposure to data analytics, visualization, or audit automation tools is advantageous.Strong command of English, both written and verbal.Willingness to travel for client engagements across the UAE and wider region.Preferred AttributesExperience delivering risk-based audits
