Applicants can expect to join a fast-growing, technology-driven environment committed to excellence and customer satisfaction.Role Description This full-time remote role is for an Experienced Medical Interpreter Korean who will provide accurate, culturally competent interpretation between Korean and English in medical and healthcare settings. Daily responsibilities include facilitating communication between patients, families, and healthcare professionals during appointments, consultations, and procedures, ensuring clarity and confidentiality. The interpreter will handle OPI and VRI calls, adhere to HIPAA and company policies, and accurately convey complex medical terminology and concepts without omissions or additions. The role also involves maintaining detailed records of assignments, participating in ongoing training, and collaborating with scheduling and operations teams to support consistent, high-quality service delivery. The interpreter is expected to maintain professional boundaries, uphold ethical standards, and contribute to a respectful and inclusive environment.Qualifications Strong proficiency in Korean and English, with proven skills in Medical Interpretation and Interpreting in clinical and hospital environments.Demonstrated ability to work with Medical Terminology, accurately conveying diagnoses, procedures, treatments, and informed consent information.Experience with Simultaneous Interpretation and consecutive interpreting techniques in fast-paced medical or community settings.Capacity for high-quality Translation of medical documents, patient information, and related materials when required.Knowledge of HIPAA regulations, confidentiality standards, and interpreter codes of ethics.Prior experience with OPI/VRI platforms or remote interpreting technologies is highly beneficial.Excellent active listening, note-taking, and communication skills, with attention to detail and cultural sensitivity.Ability to work independently in a remote setting, manage time effectively, and handle varying call volumes.Relevant certification or training in medical interpreting; a degree in linguistics, healthcare, or related field is a plus.Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings or weekends, to support 24/7 operations as needed.
