Experienced Midwife

Role Description The Midwife will provide full-time, on-site care in clients’ homes across Dubai, focusing on postpartum, and newborn services. Daily responsibilities include conducting postnatal assessments, monitoring parent and newborn health, supporting immediate post-birth care, and coordinating with physicians and other healthcare professionals when needed. The role involves providing breastfeeding and lactation support, educating families on newborn care, sleep training, weaning, and maternal recovery. The Midwife will maintain accurate clinical documentation, follow established care protocols, and contribute to ongoing quality improvement. This role requires flexibility to visit clients in various locations in Dubai and a commitment to delivering culturally sensitive, respectful, and safe home-based care.QualificationsStrong midwifery and maternity care skills, including intrapartum, and postnatal support.Experience in newborn and infant care, including breastfeeding support, sleep training, and early child health education.Degree in Nursing or Midwifery (or equivalent), with recognized midwifery certification in home country.Previous experience in home healthcare, maternity units, or community health settings is highly beneficial.Excellent communication skills, empathy, and ability to build trust with clients and families from diverse backgrounds.Strong organizational and documentation skills, with attention to safety, infection control, and clinical guidelines.Ability to work independently in the field, manage schedules, and respond appropriately to urgent care needs.
