We’re Hiring: Experienced Visa Officer – New Zealand Student Visas | Sri LankaGRI Education is expanding our Sri Lanka team and we are looking for an experienced Visa Officer with a minimum of 3 years’ experience in student visa processing.We are particularly interested in candidates who have strong, hands-on experience with New Zealand student visa applications and can independently manage cases from initial document assessment through to visa lodgement and follow-up.Key ResponsibilitiesAssess and prepare New Zealand student visa applicationsReview financial documents, sponsor evidence and source of fundsReview Statements of Purpose and bona fide documentationIdentify visa risks, inconsistencies and missing evidence before lodgementManage applications and communicate with students throughout the visa processHandle Immigration New Zealand requests for additional informationSupport students with visa interview preparation where requiredMaintain accurate case records, checklists and application timelinesWork closely with our counselling and admissions teamsEscalate complex immigration matters where appropriateRequirementsMinimum 3 years of relevant visa processing experienceStrong experience with New Zealand student visas is highly preferredGood understanding of Immigration New Zealand student visa requirements and documentation standardsStrong knowledge of financial and sponsor documentationExcellent written and spoken EnglishHigh attention to detail and strong case assessment skillsAbility to independently manage multiple applications and deadlinesPrevious experience with an overseas education consultancy or immigration practice will be an advantageLocation: Negombo, Sri LankaThis is an important role within our growing visa operations.
