Role OverviewJoin our prestigious client's eTranslation team to improve large-scale Machine Translation (MT) and Natural Language Processing (NLP) solutions. You will build and test AI models, integrate Large Language Models (LLMs), and manage complex datasets used by millions of users across the EU.Core ResponsibilitiesAI & LLM Integration: Design, test, and deploy AI/NLP applications and Large Language Models for automated translation and language tools.Data Management: Acquire, clean, and manage large text datasets (corpora) using machine learning and rule-based filtering.Model Evaluation: Set quality standards for datasets and measure model output using metrics like BLEU scores and human evaluation.Optimization: Build pre- and post-processing tools to improve output quality, morphological analysis, and domain adaptation.Team Collaboration: Advise developers on integrating data pipelines into live software and present technical updates to stakeholders.Key RequirementsEducation: Master’s Degree (EQF Level 7, 5-year degree) in AI, Computational Linguistics, Machine Learning, Data Science, or a related field.Mandatory Expertise:Proven experience in at least one key domain: Machine Learning, NLPMachine Translation.Strong programming skills in Python for text processing.Rapid prototyping experience with large textual datasets.Familiarity with LLMs and frameworks like Marian or similar ML toolkits.Soft Skills:Fluent in English with strong technical writing and presentation skills.Ability to work effectively in a multicultural, international team.High discretion and integrity when handling confidential data.
