This is a high-impact leadership role: you will shape strategy, build and develop the team, and be the key link between clients, carriers, agents and regulatory authorities.Professionals with export experience in the pharmaceutical or medical device industry will find this role a natural next step in their careers.What You'll DoSet the direction: define the strategy, policies and goals of the export department.Run world-class operations: oversee export logistics and administrative processes, ensuring full compliance with international trade and customs regulations.Drive profitability: manage the department budget and lead negotiations with clients, carriers and freight agents.Partner with leadership: work closely with senior management to support sustainable growth aligned with company goals.Build a strong team: lead, coach and develop export supervisors and administrative staff.Measure and improve: track department KPIs and lead continuous process improvement.Ensure compliance: guarantee accurate export documentation in line with Incoterms and current regulations.What You BringBachelor's or Master's degree in Business Administration, International Trade, Logistics or a related field.5+ years of hands-on experience in export management, export operations, freight forwarding or international logistics.Strong knowledge of export regulations, customs requirements, Incoterms and trade documentation.Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ERP or logistics management systems.Strong negotiation, leadership and communication skills.Advanced English, written and spoken.Ability to make strategic decisions, work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.Pharma Export Experience: A Strong AdvantageIf you have managed exports of pharmaceutical products, medical devices or other FDA-regulated goods, your background is exactly what we value. Experience in a regulated environment brings the discipline, attention to detail and compliance mindset this role demands. We are especially interested in candidates with experience in:Export compliance for regulated products: EEI/AES filings, export controls (EAR/ECCN), restricted party screening and Schedule B classification.Regulatory documentation: Certificates of Free Sale, Certificates of Pharmaceutical Product (CPP), certificates of origin and destination country import permits.Cold chain and temperature-sensitive shipments: packaging validation, data loggers, temperature excursion management and coordination with specialized carriers.Good Distribution Practices (GDP) and quality requirements, including deviation handling and corrective actions (CAPA).Coordination with Quality, Regulatory Affairs and Supply Chain teams to release and ship product on time.Audits and inspections: supporting internal, customer or regulatory audits related to export processes.Ready for Your First Management Role?Senior Export Specialists, Export Compliance Specialists or Supervisors from the pharmaceutical and medical device industry are encouraged to apply.
