Team members collaborate closely with management and operations to support the company’s growth and long-term customer relationships.Role Description The Export Manager for Documentation and Sales is a full-time, on-site role based in the Greater Kolkata Area. This role oversees end-to-end export documentation, including preparing invoices, packing lists, certificates of origin, shipping instructions, and compliance papers aligned with international trade regulations. The Export Manager coordinates with freight forwarders, customs agents, and internal production teams to ensure timely shipments and accurate documentation. Daily responsibilities include calling, tracking sales leads for bulk businesses globally and in India, managing sales inquiries from international clients, preparing quotations, tracking orders, and maintaining export records. The role also involves monitoring market trends, supporting business planning for new regions, and maintaining strong customer relationships through clear and professional communication.Qualifications Strong expertise in Export operations, including documentation, logistics coordination, and regulatory compliance.Ability in Business Planning and sales forecasting to support export growth and profitability.Knowledge of International Business and International Trade practices, terms (Incoterms), and trade regulations.Proven Sales skills in handling international clients, preparing quotations, negotiating terms, and closing deals.Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; proficiency in additional languages is an advantage.Attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple shipments and deadlines.Experience with ERP or export management software ,CRM and MS Office tools (Excel, Word, Outlook).Bachelor’s degree in Business, International Trade, Commerce, or a related field; relevant export or logistics certifications are a plus.Prior experience in leather goods, manufacturing, or related export industries is preferred.
