External Audit Manager

Please note: This position requires professional fluency in both Arabic and English, as the role involves extensive interaction with Arabic-speaking clients, regulatory authorities, and audit teams.Job SummaryWe are seeking an experienced External Audit Manager to lead audit engagements, manage client relationships, and develop high-performing audit teams. The successful candidate will oversee engagements from planning to completion while ensuring compliance with professional standards and contributing to the growth of our Audit & Assurance practice.Key ResponsibilitiesLead external audit engagements from planning to reporting.Review audit files and financial statements.Manage client relationships across diverse industries.Lead, mentor, and develop audit teams.Ensure compliance with IFRS, ISA, SOCPA requirements, and firm policies.Manage engagement budgets, timelines, and quality.Provide technical guidance on accounting and auditing matters.Requirements Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field.5–15 years of external audit experience in Saudi Arabia.Professional qualification such as SOCPA, CPA, ACCA, ACA, CA, DipIFR, or equivalent.Strong knowledge of IFRS, ISA, SOCPA regulations, and the Saudi regulatory environment.Fluency in Arabic and English (written and spoken) is required.Proven leadership, communication, and client management skills.For non-Saudi applicants, eligibility for Iqama transfer is required.Preferred QualificationsExperience with a leading international or regional audit firm.Experience managing complex audit engagements.Strong people leadership and coaching skills.
