We value accuracy, accountability, teamwork, cost awareness, and continuous improvement.The RoleWe are seeking an experienced F&B Receiving Clerk to oversee receiving activities while supporting inventory administration and food and beverage cost control. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and comfortable verifying deliveries, maintaining accurate records, monitoring quantities and pricing, and identifying discrepancies that may affect inventory accuracy or operating costs.Key ResponsibilitiesReceive food, beverage, and operational supplies in accordance with purchase orders and approved specifications.Verify quantities, quality, packaging, expiration dates, and product condition upon receipt.Match deliveries against purchase orders, invoices, delivery notes, and receiving documentation.Record received goods accurately in inventory, ERP, POS, or stock-management systems.Identify and report shortages, overages, damaged goods, substitutions, and pricing discrepancies.Coordinate with purchasing, suppliers, warehouse, kitchen, and F&B management teams.Maintain organized receiving records and supporting documentation.Monitor inventory movements and assist with regular stock counts and reconciliations.Support food and beverage cost calculations and monitor purchasing costs.Compare supplier prices and invoice values against agreed terms and approved purchase prices.Assist with monitoring food cost, beverage cost, wastage, and inventory variances.Investigate discrepancies between physical stock, system records, invoices, and consumption data.Prepare receiving, inventory, cost-control, and variance reports.Support month-end inventory procedures and cost-control reporting.Ensure receiving activities follow company procedures, hygiene standards, and applicable requirements.Contribute to process improvements that strengthen inventory accuracy and cost efficiency.Requirements3+ years of experience in F&B receiving, inventory control, purchasing, cost control, hospitality operations, or a related field preferred.Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification in Hospitality, Business, Accounting, Supply Chain, or a related discipline preferred.Practical understanding of F&B receiving, inventory, purchasing, and cost-control processes.Strong knowledge of purchase orders, invoices, delivery documentation, and stock reconciliation.Excellent attention to detail and numerical accuracy.Experience with ERP, POS, inventory, purchasing, or cost-control systems.Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.Ability to identify discrepancies and follow issues through to resolution.Good written and verbal English communication skills.Ability to coordinate effectively with suppliers and cross-functional teams.Comfortable working independently in a fully remote environment.Professional certifications are not required unless specifically relevant.What We OfferFlexible part-time work in a fully remote environment.Competitive compensation aligned with experience and responsibilities.Opportunity to support professional F&B receiving and cost-control operations.Exposure to purchasing, inventory, supplier, and financial control processes.Access to modern operational and reporting systems.Professional growth through hands-on hospitality operations responsibilities.Collaborative international working environment focused on accuracy, efficiency, and cost awareness.
