Job Title: Fabricator Reports To: Fabrication – Team Leader Industry:AutomotiveDeptt: Operations Work Location: Dubai, UAEWork Timings: 6 days a week (8+1 hours)Salary: AED 4,000 - 6,000( Benefits as per UAE Law)Objective:The Fabricator is responsible for designing, fabricating, and finishing custom parts using fiberglass, carbon fiber, and composite materials.

This role requires precision, technical skill, and creativity to produce high-quality, durable components for automotive.

Responsibilities

Contributing to the company's goal of total customer satisfaction by proper and timely execution of all repair orders. Carrying out service and repairs of customer vehicles with zero comebacks. Completing all repair orders within the time allocated. Achieving monthly productivity targets as set by the higher management.Ensuring quality control levels are attained. Using all protective equipment to maintain the cleanliness of customer vehicles. (Seat Covers, Floor Mats, and Fender Covers). Maintaining an adequate inventory of hand tools to meet the servicing, designing, and repairing requirements. Ensuring all customer requests on the repair order are being completed to a high-quality standard. Identifying and advising the workshop engineer of any additional repair items found on customer vehicles. Carrying out final inspection of all work completed on the assigned job cards.Maintaining accurate clocking practices by clocking on and off every repair order by reporting to the Workshop Controller/Engineer.Transcribing a clear, accurate account of all work completed onto the repair orders.Always maintaining a clean and professional appearance whilst on premises. Keeping the work area clean and tidy at all times.Reading and understanding product schematics and assembly instructions. Verifying dimensions and product specifications. Ensuring that all the required parts for assembly are present. Marking cutting lines on material. Maintaining a production schedule. Testing products for their functionality. Troubleshooting and stress testing products to minimize problems or re-jobs. Reporting and detailing product malfunctions. Adhering to assembly safety standards. Ensuring material utilization to maximize profitability. Advising the Operations Manager on proper work materials as per specifications and durability Refer to online journals on special cases to make sure the design and structure are compatible with that car, as per customer concerns. Provide a technical sheet to the Operations Manager as per the scope of workQualification / Experience – Specific Requirements High School Certificate or equivalent. Vocational/Technical Certification in Composite Materials, Fiberglass, Carbon Fiber Fabrication or Automotive Body Work preferred. Minimum 7 years’ experience in fiberglass, carbon fiber, or composite fabrication. Strong skills in molding, laminating, curing, and finishing composite materials. Ability to work from technical drawings, templates, or 3D models. Knowledge of resins, adhesives, hardeners, and safety materials. Skilled in sanding, polishing, and achieving smooth, high-quality finishes. Attention to detail and a creative approach for custom projects. System skills, Licensing, Language, or Certification that are/could be helpful Familiarity with composite fabrication tools, vacuum bagging systems, molds, and curing ovens. Basic computer skills for reading digital templates or CAD drawings. English (required); Arabic or Hindi/Urdu is an advantage. Safety certifications related to chemical handling or workshop safety (preferred). Manufacturer or industry-specific training in carbon fiber/fiberglass fabrication is a plus.
