Facade Architect (site Supervision)

Job DescriptionWe are seeking an experienced Facade Architect to join our team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. In this role, you will oversee the design, engineering, and on-site supervision of facade systems for commercial and residential projects. You will be responsible for ensuring that all facade installations meet design specifications, building codes, and quality standards while maintaining project timelines and budgets. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong technical expertise, decisive leadership, and meticulous attention to detail in managing complex facade projects from conception through completion.Design and engineer facade systems including curtain walls, cladding, and glazing solutions that meet project requirements and Saudi Building Code standardsSupervise facade installation activities on-site, ensuring compliance with approved drawings, specifications, and quality standardsConduct regular site inspections and quality control assessments to identify and resolve construction issues promptlyAnalyze structural and architectural requirements to develop innovative and cost-effective facade solutionsPrepare and review technical documentation, including construction drawings, specifications, and material schedulesCollaborate with architects, structural engineers, and contractors to coordinate facade work with other building systemsManage facade-related budgets, timelines, and resource allocation to ensure project delivery on scheduleProvide technical guidance and training to on-site teams regarding facade installation procedures and safety protocolsDocument project progress through reports, photographs, and performance metricsEnsure all facade work complies with applicable building codes, safety regulations, and environmental standardsCommunicate project updates and technical recommendations to project stakeholders and managementQualificationsMinimum 10 years of professional experience in facade design, engineering, or architectureProven expertise in facade systems including curtain walls, cladding, and glazing installationsStrong knowledge of building codes, safety standards, and construction regulations (Saudi Building Code preferred)Proficiency with CAD software and Building Information Modeling (BIM) toolsDemonstrated experience in on-site project supervision and quality controlExcellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to make decisive technical decisionsStrong project management and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneouslyExceptional communication and interpersonal skills for effective team collaborationExperience with high-rise or complex facade projectsFamiliarity with sustainable building practices and energy-efficient facade solutionsKnowledge of facade material specifications and supplier managementAbility to read and interpret architectural and structural drawingsStrong attention to detail and commitment to quality standardsExperience working in the Middle Eastern construction industry is highly desirable
