Facilities Engineer-FM Associate

Role Purpose: To provide technical oversight and assurance of all facilities management services delivered by service providers, ensuring compliance with contractual obligations, performance standards, and asset management objectives.Key Responsibilities 1. Service Provider Oversight • Monitor and supervise service providers’ daily activities to ensure compliance with SLAs, KPIs, and contractual requirements • Review and validate maintenance schedules, work orders, and service reports submitted by the FM contractor • Ensure all reactive, corrective, and preventive maintenance activities are completed effectively and within agreed timelines • Conduct regular audits of contractor performance, manpower deployment, and service delivery quality2. Technical Assurance & Asset Performance • Monitor the performance and condition of all MEP systems and building assets • Review technical reports, failure analysis, and root cause investigations submitted by service providers • Validate recommendations for repairs, replacements, and upgrades • Support lifecycle planning and CAPEX evaluation from a technical standpoint3. Inspections & Compliance • Conduct joint inspections with service providers to assess asset condition and service quality • Identify deficiencies, non-compliance issues, and operational risks • Ensure timely closure of defects and observations through proper follow-up mechanisms • Ensure compliance with regulatory, statutory, and HSE requirements 4. Documentation & Reporting • Review and verify maintenance documentation, asset registers, and service reports • Maintain accurate records of asset history, inspections, and contractor performance • Prepare periodic technical reports highlighting performance, risks, and improvement areas5. Contractor & Work Approval • Review and validate technical submittals, method statements, and risk assessments • Evaluate and recommend approval of quotations, variation orders, and minor works proposals • Ensure cost and scope align with contractual terms and technical requirements6. HSE & Risk Monitoring • Ensure service providers comply with HSE policies, procedures, and safety standards • Participate in safety audits, risk assessments, and emergency preparedness reviews • Monitor incident reports and ensure corrective actions are implemented7. Coordination & Stakeholder Support • Coordinate with internal stakeholders, consultants, and service providers • Support the Facilities Manager in resolving technical issues and service delivery challenges • Provide technical input during meetings, audits, and performance reviews
