Job Title: Manager - Facilities ManagementJob Location: Abu DhabiJob Summary:Lead the day-to-day facilities management operations of a large, high-acuity multi-specialty hospital campus, ensuring safe, reliable, and compliant building infrastructure and support services across a complex, 24/7 clinical environment.The role is responsible for managing hard and soft FM services, vendor and contractor performance, statutory compliance, and asset reliability, while supporting capital and minor works projects and driving continuous improvement in service quality, cost efficiency, and patient/staff experience.Key Responsibilities:Manage the end-to-end delivery of hard and soft facilities services (mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, fire and life safety, cleaning, waste management, pest control, landscaping, security-support, and related services) across a large-scale, multi-building hospital campus operating on a 24/7 basis.Ensure uninterrupted operation of critical hospital infrastructure (medical gases, power, water, HVAC, fire and life safety systems) through robust preventive and predictive maintenance programmes.Supervise in-house facilities teams and outsourced FM contractors/vendors, ensuring performance against SLAs, KPIs, and contractual obligations.Develop, implement, and monitor planned preventive maintenance (PPM) schedules using CMMS platforms, ensuring optimal asset uptime and lifecycle management.Ensure full compliance with UAE health, safety, and environmental regulations, civil defence requirements, and relevant healthcare facility standards, and lead readiness for internal and external audits/inspections.Manage facilities-related budgets, cost control, and procurement of FM services, spare parts, and consumables in line with approved plans.Act as a key point of contact for clinical and non-clinical department heads on all facilities-related matters, ensuring minimal disruption to hospital operations.Support and coordinate minor works, refurbishment, fit-out, and capital improvement projects, working closely with project management and clinical engineering teams.Monitor and respond to facilities-related incidents, breakdowns, and emergencies, ensuring rapid resolution and root-cause analysis to prevent recurrence.Maintain accurate asset registers, maintenance records, compliance certificates, and facilities documentation in line with governance requirements.Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance service quality, energy efficiency, sustainability, and cost-effectiveness across facilities operations.Support the development and training of facilities staff, promoting a strong safety culture and high standards of service delivery.Prepare regular performance reports, dashboards, and updates for senior leadership on facilities operations, compliance status, and improvement initiatives.QualificationsBachelor's Degree in Engineering, Facilities Management, or a related discipline.Professional certification in Facilities Management (e.g., IFMA, BIFM) or Project Management (PMP) is an advantage.8+ years of progressive experience in facilities management, with prior exposure to healthcare, hospital, or other critical/complex operational environments preferred.Demonstrated experience managing multidisciplinary FM teams and outsourced contractors within a large, multi-building or campus-style facility.Strong working knowledge of UAE health and safety regulations, civil defence requirements, and facilities compliance standards.Practical experience with CMMS, FMIS, or similar maintenance and asset management systems.About PureHealth:PureHealth is the UAE’s largest integrated healthcare platform, committed to revolutionizing the nation’s healthcare ecosystem and advancing the future of health through innovation, technology, and world-class care delivery.Why Join Us?At PureHealth, you’ll be part of a transformational journey to redefine healthcare through technology and human-centered innovation.
