Any sponsorship will be subject to internal review and approval based on employee performance, current immigration law and business needs.Job SummaryThe Facility Manager is responsible for overseeing the development of maintenance, safety, and day-to-day operations of the manufacturing facility. This role focuses on ensuring that building systems, including power, air handling, and cooling infrastructure, are running reliably to support production. The position involves coordinating maintenance activities, managing vendors, ensuring compliance with Environment, Health and Safety requirements, and responding to issues to minimize disruption to operations.The Facility department keeps buildings and its critical systems running smoothly, so production is never interrupted. The team supports both early planning, such as defining space, equipment, maintains facility infrastructure including power, air handling, liquid cooling systems that thermally support high-density server production, and monitors through Building Management System (BMS) to catch and resolve issues before they reach the floor. Day-to-day work encompasses preventive maintenance, vendor coordination, EHS and safety compliance, and around-the-clock response to urgent issues. The department is reliability-driven, partnering with the Operations Engineering team to protect uptime and minimize disruption to production.Duties/ResponsibilitiesOversee daily operation of facility infrastructure, including power, air handling systems (AHU), and liquid cooling systems.Manage and respond to facility-related issues to minimize impact to production operationsMonitor building systems through the Building Management System (BMS) and ensure timely response to system alerts Ensure cooling systems (including CDU-based systems and loops) operate reliably to support production needs.Manage preventive maintenance programs, inspections, and repair activities across facility systems Set maintenance priorities and staffing levels, and oversee the Facility Supervisor’s execution of technician workDetermine whether issues can be resolved in-house or require external vendor support Manage vendor relationships, service contracts, and on-site service activities Support installation, setup of facility systems and ensure they meet operational requirements and comply with both EHS and OSHA regulations.Oversee security systems such as access control, CCTV, alarms, and related vendor coordinationSupport emergency response planning, evacuation procedures, and business continuity planningSupport city inspections, audits, and regulatory requirements.Manage facility budgets, maintenance costs, and operational expenditures Develop and maintain facility procedures, policies, and best practices Oversee general facility conditions, including cleanliness and safety of interior and exterior areas Manage space planning, facility modifications, and construction activities as needed Communicate facility updates and project status to leadership and stakeholders Provide training and guidance to facility staff to improve operational capabilityRespond to urgent issues and support after-hours facility needs as required, stepping in on day-to-day tasks when situations require extra supportCompetenciesStrong understanding of facility systems, including power, air handling (AHU), and cooling infrastructure Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills, especially in time-sensitive or operational situations Ability to manage vendors, service providers, and maintenance contracts effectively Strong leadership and coordination skills to guide facility technicians and work across teams Clear communication skills, with the ability to work with both technical and non-technical stakeholders Must have working knowledge of EHS and OSHA regulations.Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple facility issues at the same time Willingness to support after-hours response and urgent facility needs when requiredEducation and ExperienceMust have a bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Business, or a related field Minimum 5 years of experience in facility operations, infrastructure management, or manufacturing environments Experience supporting production or manufacturing environments where system uptime is critical Experience managing facility maintenance programs, vendor services, and external contractors Experience planning and managing facility budgets and operational costs Experience supporting facility expansion, upgrades, or construction projects is a plusFamiliarity with cleanroom environments or manufacturing facilities preferredPhysical RequirementsRegularly required to walk, talk, and hear while performing daily job duties Occasionally required to stand, sit, use hands to handle or feel objects, reach with hands and arms, and move within the facility May occasionally be required to climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl when accessing equipment or facility areas Must be able to lift and/or move up to 30 pounds as needed Specific vision abilities include close vision, distance vision, and the ability to adjust focus
