Kelly Services is hiring a Facilities Security Officer for a confidential direct-hire client with significant government contracts and operations in Oregon.This position reports to the President and leads security programs across facilities in Portland and Albany, Oregon. The ideal candidate will be experienced in industrial security, NISPOM requirements, ITAR/export compliance, and government contracting environments.Compensation & ScheduleSalary: $120,000–$140,000 annuallySchedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m.Some additional weekday hours may be required; no weekend workRelocation assistance: Up to $10,000Employment type: Direct hireKey ResponsibilitiesLead facility security operations across two Oregon locations.Oversee NISPOM requirements under 32 CFR Part 117, Facility Clearance requirements, and Standard Practice Procedures.Manage ITAR/export compliance, CUI, classified information, PII, and other controlled information.Direct access control, badging, physical security, camera systems, remote-site monitoring, and contract security services.Conduct inspections, audits, customer assessments, investigations, and risk mitigation activities.Develop and enforce security policies, procedures, and project-specific security programs.Partner with executive leadership, Operations, Safety, HR, customers, government agencies, and law enforcement.Support COMSEC and FOCI compliance activities.Lead threat management and incident response processes.Maintain security equipment and oversee facility security requirements.Qualifications10+ years of industrial security, facility security, defense, government, or related experience.U.S. citizenship required by government contract.Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD personnel security clearance.Knowledge of NISPOM, DoD security directives, ITAR/export compliance, CUI, FAR, and DFARS requirements.Experience working with federal agencies and government representatives.Strong communication, report-writing, presentation, organizational, and problem-solving skills.Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.Ability to travel between Portland and Albany facilities.Preferred ExperienceCPP certification.Experience working with the U.S. Coast Guard or similar government organizations.Familiarity with security camera systems, remote-site monitoring, and health and safety programs.BenefitsBenefits may include medical, dental, vision, 401(k) with up to 6% company match, company-paid life insurance, AD&D, long-term disability, EAP, paid time off, sick leave, paid holidays, and education assistance.#Hiring #FacilitySecurityOfficer #IndustrialSecurity #NISPOM #ITAR #GovernmentContracting #SecurityJobs #PortlandJobs #OregonJobs #DirectHire
