Facility Management Officer

Helps ensure sites are safe, reliable, cost-effective, and ready to support Day-1 banking operations. Key responsibilities:Coordinate site fit-out, furnishing, signage, utilities activation, and handover activities against launch milestones. Operate preventive and corrective maintenance programs for building systems and equipment, including HVAC, power, lighting, and life-safety systems. Manage day-to-day workplace services, including cleaning, mailroom, pantry, space and desk management, and meeting facilities. Implement health-and-safety procedures, inspections, drills, records, and prompt closure of findings in line with applicable UAE requirements. Coordinate physical-security arrangements, including access control, CCTV, guarding, key management, and visitor procedures. Manage facilities vendors and service contracts, monitor SLAs and work quality, validate invoices, and drive performance and cost improvement. Track facilities spend against budget and maintain accurate floor plans, asset registers, permits, warranties, and service records. Support business continuity and emergency preparedness, including evacuation plans, facility-incident response, and alternate-site arrangements. Use approved smart-building and AI-enabled monitoring tools for utilization, energy, equipment health, work-order triage, and reporting, validating data and outputs. Required Skills & Experience: 12+ years in procurement, sourcing, or vendor management within banking or financial services, including senior leadership of a procurement and vendor management team.Deep expertise in category management, strategic sourcing, complex contract negotiation, vendor lifecycle management, and third-party risk.Proven record building procurement policies, source-to-pay processes, vendor-governance frameworks, and outsourcing controls in a regulated environment.Strong knowledge of relevant CBUAE outsourcing expectations and applicable third-party risk and information-security standards.Exposure to AI-enabled procurement tooling, spend analytics, contract intelligence, and advanced supplier analytics.Qualifications & Certifications (Preferred)6+ years in facility management or corporate real estate operations within banking or financial services, including senior leadership of a facility management team. Deep expertise in site fit-out, building maintenance, workplace services, facilities vendor management, health and safety, and physical security coordination. Proven record building facilities operating procedures, maintenance programs, site-readiness plans, and vendor controls in a regulated environment. Strong knowledge of relevant CBUAE expectations where applicable and UAE health, safety, building, physical-security, and record-retention standards.
