The college is committed to preparing students to address real-world challenges through distinguished programs and facilities.Role Description The Faculty role at CCM-KFUPM | College of Computing and Mathematics is a full-time, on-site position located in Dhahran, Saudi Arabia. Responsibilities include teaching undergraduate and graduate courses, developing and updating course materials, supervising student projects and theses, and providing academic advising and mentorship. Faculty members are expected to conduct high-quality research, publish in reputable journals and conferences, and actively seek external funding and collaborative projects. The role also involves participating in departmental and college committees, contributing to curriculum development, and engaging in outreach and service to the university and broader community. Faculty are encouraged to foster an inclusive learning environment and maintain strong ties with industry through joint research, internships, and cooperative education initiatives.Qualifications Advanced academic qualifications, typically a PhD in Computer Engineering, Information and Computer Science, Industrial & Systems Engineering, Mathematics, or a closely related field.Demonstrated teaching ability at the university level, including experience designing course materials, delivering lectures, and assessing student learning outcomes.Established or emerging research record, evidenced by publications in peer-reviewed journals or conferences and potential to secure research funding and collaborate across disciplines.Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a diverse, multicultural academic environment.Commitment to student mentorship, academic advising, and supporting experiential learning opportunities such as internships and cooperative education.Experience or interest in industry collaboration, applied research, or projects aligned with regional and global technological and societal needs.Ability to contribute to departmental and college service, including committee work, curriculum development, and continuous program improvement.Proficiency in English for teaching and research purposes; additional language skills are an asset.
